She is a little crazy, but also very sweet. She falls behind on grading all the time, assignments and tests are pretty easy. If you don't go to class you will fail the class.

Comment:

Best teacher I've had in 4 years at SJSU. Small assignments each class but very manageable. She is sweet and makes class fun &interesting. I struggled due to personal issues but she was incomprehensibly accommodating and even supportive. She wants to help you out. Quick response with emails. ANYTHING positive to say about her as a teacher, I would.

Very nice professor, and really seemed to enjoy what she's doing. Very helpful and understanding if you talk to her. Midterm and final weren't very hard, but you have to go to class and pay attention to do well. Keep up with blog posts or it will end up hurting you!

Comment:

Nice teacher but I hated this class! We barley touched on sex or drugs mostly rock and roll from the 60's to early 80's. The Midterm is hard and she doesn't tell you what to study at all. It almost seems that she is more interested in the class then the students. She would sing to herself with the songs and make you dance sometimes.

I took her online class. She's really nice but very scatterbrained. She leaves all her grading until the last min & then gets frustrated. She also doesn't return emails- important for online courses! U can't learn from your mistakes if u don't have any feedback so I got graded down for the same mistakes w/out knowing it! Wldn't recommend her class

Very nice professor. She makes a tough, fast paced class easier and less stressful. Very humorous and friendly. I would recomend her anytime. MCOM 100w is a lot of work but she tries to make it as easy as possible.

McCune is one of the nicest teachers on campus. She goes out of her way to make the numerous assignments fun and entertaining. Tons of extra credit opportunities- take advantage of all of them! If anything, take her class just for her cute Boston accent and occasional quirky comments.

tons of small daily assingments are time consuming but helpful. no tests, all takehome. FUN CLASS with active discussions. BUY AN ASOC. PRESS SYTLEBOOK!! she will hound you on format and grammar. can resumbit corrected work though!!
