I enjoyed this class and I found Cindy to be knowledgeable and entertaining enough to keep our interest. She is a good professor for instruction and for clinical. Her tests and quizzes are tough so be sure to study a lot!

This class was by far the hardest I have ever had, due to the fact that the professor does not really seem to care if you pass or fail. Her tests seem to come out of nowhere. All of the other professors seem to genuinely care about making sure that you understand and they want you to make it, but this professor just doesn't seem to care at all.

By far the worst teacher I've ever had. Felt like she didnt care. Went to her for help and she just said to study more. She changes answers on the tests from semester to semester, on the same quesion, wtf? She needs to retire, or the school needs to evaluate her themselves. She honestly made me feel like she wanted us to fail.

At times I thoroughly enjoyed the class and felt like she really wanted students to get it; at other times I felt the exact opposite. She has the potential to be a great teacher and at times she was, but too often she took the easy way out (a film on asthma/COPD--really that's it?!). I did think that she was great in the lab, though.

I passed this course, but barely. How can someone with straight A's make it by as close as I did? I don't feel I was taught by the professor, I feel like I was taught by the textbook. The crappy thing is she is the head of the department so she is who you would "bring concerns" to. I'm sorry to the person bellow, it wasn't you.

My average was .3 point below what I needed to pass and she would not allow me to do anything at all to earn that less then half a point. That is a little TOO harsh. I went to her several times asking for help (not understanding something) and she offered nothing helpful. Everything I learned in this class was at clinical and in the book. Not her.

Do NOT listen to anyone else. This class is tough because it is sooooo much in such a short time, that's all. She was an EXCELLENT teacher, and is actually more compassionate than she comes accross initially. Don't let anyone EVER scare you about her or this class. I feared before this class and ended up hugging her once I was passed, which was eas

Cindy's quality of teaching is very poor. She is constantly contridicting herself. Her commitment to the class is also very poor. She makes appointments and does not keep them and gives inappropriate answers to questions that are then later graded by her in an extremely harsh manner. She makes you question your intelligence and your career choice.

Okay, she's the head of the department...so no one to complain too when you feel like she'd like nothing more than to squash you into the carpet. Perhaps she feels that she is doing the public a service by getting rid of as many nursing students as possible. Unfortunatly no one else teaches 200, and you need it to graduate.
