Comment:
Dr. Berger makes this class difficult for many reasons. First, he adds work on top of the textbook that has nothing to do with Behavior Analysis. Then, he forces you to take his "APA Style" test, which no other teacher in the history of the department does. He lectures nothing relevant from the textbook and tells you nothing about what to know.

Comment:
I have taken psych before, but the class is still extremely difficult. Most of the time I leave lecture wondering why I even sat through the whole thing. It's pointless because no relevant info is covered. 80% of your grade is based on the tests, which the majority of the class fails. There is really no way to try to do better because of the tests

Berger is a really nice guy and knows his stuff, but he is one of the worst professors I've ever had. He is unhelpful, talks down to you, and is SO unclear it's almost impossible to know what you're expected to do. He is always late to class and returning your work. Avoid him if possible, if you can't, be expected to always have to call him.

This guy is causing a lot of us to lose money and take out more loans to pay for same class at some other school. A waste of time and $'s. Do not take a class from this person, 50% drop rate!!!

Big style lecture class, all the notes and slideshows go online, so there is no need to pay attention in class. The tests are extremely difficult and you need to take online quizzes before every test. If you have a MAC, you're screwed because they don't work on MACs. It's an extreme disadvantage.

Dr. Berger split the course with another professor so he only taught the first half of the semester. Went through powerpoints extremely quickly and did not elaborate much. Talked a lot about his laboratory rats and studies. I struggled to pay attention and focus on his lectures. Critical that you read the chapters multiple times to comprehend.

Dr. Berger is extremely boring and is always talking about his rats he does testing on. He isn't very helpful and his lectures are very fast and he doesn't go back to any slides you missed information on. I would highly not recommend him.

Okay so in the beginning of the semester i heard how horrible he was and was scarred, but dont worry, hes not that horrible. I mean he doesnt really help you, he just talks for 50 mins, so you have to basically teach yourself. But hes really not that bad. Just go to class and read the book and youll be fine. you just cant rely on him to teach.

Can't believe this man has a job. Attendance is mandatory for a lecture? The man is an absolute joke, and you will only get a d if you read the book cover to cover. I feel bad for anyone who ever has to have him. Worst human being on the face of the earth no question.
