Absolutely loved his class! He is very intelligent and you will definitely learn something. You don't need the text book because his wonderful lectures provide all info needed for tests, but you will need the documents book for any essays. Overall I'd recommend him to any and everyone. Forever one of my favorites.

Loved his class! I can't wait to take His 201 with him. He's Hilarious! His lectures are very interesting. He cares about his students and will help in any way he can! Wonderful teacher! You do have to write one essay. I bought the book but didnt use it. I passed the tests off my notes from his lectures alone. Cant wait for His201!

I love Dr. Shroeder! He is a funny, respected man full with wisdom and he really cares about your education! You do not need the book because he lectures through out the whole class time. Did I mention he's hilarious?! A legend at BSCC! Roll Tide!

Dr. Schroeder is honestly the best HIS teacher EVER!! If you wanna learn a thing or two, take Schroeder, He is filled with Knowledge. Also a Sports fan! Some teachers are lazy and feed you the textbook, Schroeder is NOT lazy, he always gives amazing lectures. Just SHOW UP FOR CLASS and take notes. He makes class so interesting. THE BEST!

I've taken two of Schroeder's classes so far, and they were extremely interesting. He provides plenty of background info on the current time period that you are discussing as opposed to just jumping right in without explanation. His classes are not difficult, but you must have good attendance. His tests are strictly on notes taken during lecture.

As said prior, you must take notes in the class. Expect alot of writting!A few days before the test, a study guide will be provided. Don't buy the document book. Cons- he is NEVER in his office, and don't try calling him. He can sometimes be GROUCHY as well. However, he is a very good teacher- one of the best at BSCC.

This guy is tough, but fair. He knows more of his history than anyone I know and is really interested in imparting that knowledge to the next generation of scholars. He's also awesome in Scholar's Bowl-"15 of -5 Schroeder" we call him. And like Mussolini, he has a line of women around his apartment!
