This is a great class and very doable if you are willing to work for it. Ms. Austin gives clear grading criteria and I learned a lot. Beware, the midterm is pretty difficult, but you get lots of opportunity to bounce back if you don't do so well on it.

Take all the quizzes and do all the homework and at min. pass, two chances to make 100 on quizzes and unlimited chances to make 100 on HW assignments. She graded the midterm with a curve. You have to be a little bit of a self-teacher to take it online, although I am sure she would be helpful, I just didn't ask. She seems nice and encouraging.

Can be confusing. The practice problems she used during her lectures were different from how the homework problems were in the book. Then when it came to test day, the problems were different from both the homework and her lectures. I had her for trig and stats and it was like that both times. Her quizzes are easy and are more like her notes.

Mrs. Austin is a very nice lady. She will help you if you ask. She takes the class as slow as needed, it all depends on the class. She gives in-class quizes and then her tests are online, which was a plus. She has notes posted online that you can print. All around she is a nice teacher as long as you do your own part, you shouldn't have a problem.

Mrs. Austin, is a really nice lady and if it was needed to take her again in the future I would, she is always willing to help a student out during office hours!!! I am really happy that I have her as a Professor for Elementary Statistics and College Algrebra!!! I really enjoyed the semester. Also shes not bad on the eyes

Classes are only "easy" if you study and stay up to date on the notes. TAKE NOTES! If you need help she WILL HELP you, so know her office hours. I recommend going to ALL class only because she sticks to the syllabus and DOES NOT slow down. It's quick pace. She teaches from the book using a white board and examples. TAKE NOTES and use STUDY GUIDES

Web-based class. Exams were VERY difficult and there were many times where I did not feel I understood what I was being asked to do. Ms. Austin seemed knowledgable but also seemed too busy to help when I was struggling. I'd take elem stats from this teacher, but I would not take it from her via web.

She is great. Be sure to keep up because she moves fast. Don't miss class if you want an A. She crams as much into the semester as possible. She knows her stuff and she knows how to teach it. Always welcoming as far as help is concerned. She's fair and is a good teacher.

Very good teacher for beginning students. She writes everything on the board in clear, precise handwriting so that you can understand. She takes her time to make sure that everyone understands the problem. I took her for Elementary Algebra and I made a 99 in the class. I definitely reccomend her.
