Took this class to fill a requirement and it was the worst mistake of my life. The readings are absolutely impossible. Most of them are longer than 20 pages and she expects you to print them out. She gives TONS of pop quizzes which have one question that you won't know without the reading in front of you. Her lectures are UNBEARABLE and confusing..

Really enjoyed the class until she failed my final paper with horrible and wrong. threatened to give me worse than a failing grade for degrading the same copy after I politely pointed her to the spot in my essays where her comments were wrong. Lived her then quickly despised her. I worked hard and I was the only one in the class that cared.

A TON of reading, which you absolutely have to do to get a good grade on the tests. Only two exams and one final, but to get a good grade on them you have to be very thorough with the study guides because the questions can be tricky. She's very nice and makes the class interesting. Definitely very intelligent and good at fostering discussion.

I took this class as a gen ed requirement and it was so much reading. You have to read basically every night, you are reading philosophical papers so you have to do like 5 or so response papers. 2 midterms, 1 final. Not too hard, one partner project. She really cares about participation as well when talking about the papers in class.

Philosophy of Religion is a really strictly taught class. She really stays on her syllabus and that's exactly what you learn. Lots of reading that's not interesting until you come to class and discuss it. Very intelligent prof and a stereotypical dry philosophy class. Paper topics are very detailed so she practically tells you exactly what to write

Loved this class! Do the reading and participate in class and the classes are much more interesting. The most fun was when everyone had an opinion and she'll let you discuss your views or questions. Overall, I really like her!

Professor Boyle's is a very sweet and charming lady. Her class is a breeze if you attend class and fill out the study guide. There is no textbook for her class - only required texts (which I never read other than when I had to write response papers and still made nothing less than a B on her tests).

She's a really sweet person. Her lectures can be confusing but if you ask a question she'll explain it until you understand. She likes people who participate in discussion. Do all the reading responses and try to read, because lectures make more sense when you do. She gives very thorough study guides, I would recommend doing the study guides.

I was actually interested to take this class at first. But after just a few classes I knew this was going to be a long semester. This professor is boring, the class requires lots and lots or reading regularly, and the tests are not that easy. If you are taking this for an elective i'd think twice about it.

She is so nice! This class was so interesting, especially because she obviously was so passionate about the subject manner. You have to at least skim the reading and definitely have to go to class, but it was such a chill and interesting class that I wanted to go everyday. Do all the response papers, they boost your grade a lot.

Critical Thinking requires a lot of well, thinking! Boyle is a somewhat boring teacher who means well but doesn't deliver. She offers help in office hours but the material is still difficult. There are 4 tests/10 quizzes, the short argumentative paper helped pad by grade however its only worth 5%. The material is interesting but the teacher isn't.
