Kind lady, but I had a hard time hearing her and understanding. I didn't like the fact that she just went in and started telling us codes but not why we were using those codes. It was fairly easy however and often times I finished way before anyone else on assignments and went home early.

Really nice person, but patient to a fault. The entire class crawls to a stop as the weakest students receive individual attention. Too much grading during class time. If you're even slightly proficient with computers, you'll get an A in this class without any studying. Just make sure you do every single assignment and attend the reviews.

Very very easy if you have any programming experience at all. She is very nice and knows her stuff but you will not get past the very basics. I have seen this class at other schools (online versions, granted they were MIT, Stanford, etc) cover this entire class in a week or two. If you have programming experience you may want to challenge.

She's great for an intro class. She's patient and not condescending, so no worries if approaching her for help. I would've liked a few more assignments throughout the semester, but I prefer that than having too many assignments to the point of being overwhelming.

BORING. As in put-you-to-sleep boring. Nice lady...has a hearing difficulty which made her hard to talk to sometimes. Misses class a lot. OK to show up late/not at all if you don't need lecture (or a nap). VERY easy A. Misunderstands questions a lot. Moves VERY slow! Biggest problem: class was too easy, I had catching up to do in the next class.

She reminds me of Meg Ryan. The class isn't too hard but it takes a lot of time towards the end. I got an A so it isn't impossible and I have a terrible memory. Keep your programs throughout the semester it will really help for the final. It also helps to sit close to the projector screen.

I love Devvie to PIECES. My first semester of college, and as a Comp Sci major, I decided to take a programming course to test the waters. Not only was she a great teacher, she became a great friend. She is someone I would stay after class with to talk. For females - she will put you at ease!

Prof.Schneider is a good teacher. This is my second time taking an online class and I love it.She is so helpful and makes you participate in her forums. The class was challenging but she gives u enough time to work on the programs.If u can do the assignments, then the midterm and the final are all right. Prepares u well for 832.Very recommended.

Great teacher willing to work with you loved her teaching so much took classes with her 3 times!! as i progressed through the co sci classes
