I wouldn't suggest her if math isn't your best subject. If you know your stuff and once you get use to her learning style the class is cake. She tells you what is going to be on the exams look over her notes and do some practice in the txtbook & you'll be okay. a scientific calculator is fine for the course. BE ON TIME FOR EXAMS

Not very easy. You have to work super hard in order to pass her class with a good grade. Tests are custom made and are not based on any of the homework problems. She hardly uses the textbook during her lectures.

I really liked her and her way of teaching. She is a hard test grader but she will let you know exactly what she wants and how she wants it. She knows every single one of her students. She does lectures for half the class and the other half she gives out sheets and you have to do them in groups. She grades her test super fast!

She is very tough. Do not expect to be able to ask questions in class, because she does not like it. She will belittle your questions, and make you feel like an idiot. She uses an overhead projector during lectures, and it's extremely difficult to follow along with what she is doing. Avoid her class, unless you do not need any help with math.

Generally good at Calc. I thought this class would be no problem I was WRONG! She is in all fairness a good teacher by teaching in a tough manner and making you think on your own. BUT she is way too TOUGH with grading. Be ready to lose many unnecessary points. I hope she changes her grading system. good luck.

This teacher is one of the worst ive had all my life. She is tough. I took trig for the second time and still not successful. She takes unnessesary points for every little thing. Its awful. Didnt like her at all. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. If yoy want a good grade, go for someone else ratger than Toohey.

This professor is really easy. I had her twice in the same semester (college algebra & trig). If you want an A in her class, DO NOT DO THE HW. It literally contradicts what she teaches. If you want an A in her class and want to do good on the tests, just study from the notes and you'll be fine. I promise.

Best math teacher I've had. She loves what she does so learning is fun. Listen to her rules. All the notes are online. If you do the homework you're golden. She's not an easy A but if you work it pays off. She's extremely clear and once you're used to her pace it gets easier.

She is VERY knowledgeable about math, she can answer any one of your questions. She gives tough exams but they're doable if you put in the time to study. Very good professor, I would definitely recommend her to anybody who wants to learn math from a real pro

Toohey is great math teacher but treats the class like they are in elementary school. She yells at you if you go to the bathroom or come in 5 minutes late. She thinks she is funny but she really isnt. All that aside, she teaches math great whether you are good or bad at it. I really do reccomend her class but be prepared to be treated like a child.

Professor Toohey is amazing. She truly wants you to do well in the class and clearly puts a lot of time and planning into her lessons. This is not an easy A and you have to do your homework and study if you want to do well, but she grades very fairly and gives partial credit where it is deserved. If you want to learn Calculus, take Professor Toohey

She is the best...she is so funny and smart and her class is extremely enjoyable. She really is concerned that we learn and understand. I am absolutely HORRIBLE with math, yet, I enjoy her class so much. You have to work for it and go to the SI, but it's so worth it. She's fabulous, take her!! I honestly have no complaints! Best class I ever took.

She is wonderful! If you just listen to her, study, and show up to class everyday, you'll be fine. She is so organized and really enjoys teaching. She's a sweetheart and wants everyone to understand Statistics thoroughly. Do practice problems and do it her way because you can't go wrong! "fasten your seatbelt" as she always says. :)
