Comment:

Super nice helpful teacher. Take notes in class and ask for help if you need to, even if its a test he'll try to help. He doesn't use mymathlab for this class. Homework is assigned early and he takes late work. A good class for people who are really really bad at math or get really anxious during test or in math classes.

Comment:

Math isn't an easy subject but he's there for you to explain anything you don't understand. Homework is very helpful to understanding and useful for his exams. I would take him again and highly recommend him if you struggle with math without of doubt!

Awesome instructor & awesome personality. He's very quirky in a good way. Not easy material but he explains everything in the easiest way possible. NOT a math person and I passed with an A. Study guides prepare you perfectly for tests, no trick questions! It's nice to land an instructor that's passionate about teaching. This helps me WANT to learn!

wonderful instructor. keeps students engaged,very funny. nice and thorough and encourages that you ask questions. very helpful and just a super nice person.not a fan of math of any kind and i really enjoyed his lectures.would take him again.

Very good teacher. He is extremely helpful. A good number of quizzes but content is not that in depth. The final is optional and does not count against you it will only replace your lowest quiz score. I would Definately recommend him. Great Professor!

Great instructor! He makes a lot of sense when he's teaching and makes sure everyone is understanding things. The quizes on average are about 7 questions long, but they make you really think! He truly is one of the best Math instructors at Owens. TAKE HIM!

Amazing professor! Allows the use of note cards on quizzes and a sheet of notebook paper for the final. Goes over all homework and quizzes and always helps those in need. He made 8AM math very enjoyable! He makes jokes and keeps everyone interested! You are almost guaranteed an A..especially with all of the extra credit!

If you are scared about taking math take Prof. Cook. He is the best!!!! He explains the information so well you will never need to go to the math lab. I would recommend him to anyone!

Professor Cook, is one of the best Math professors at Owens. He is very helpful and funny. If you go to class and do the homework you will be fine. Also, if you have questions dont be shy, this professor will help and never make you feel uncomfortable for asking. He explains math in the simpliest way possible.

He is a great guy. I absolutely suck at math. Im at either an extremely high C or low B right now. Its too hard. He makes funny sounds and is just an all around good guy. Doesn't go to the math lab though. Overall I would definatly suggest him, plus u can use a notecard on the quizzes.

Awesome. Go to class every day, do the homework, do all the extra credit and you'll be OK, even if you're terrible at math (like I am) and don't test well. Willing to work with students one-on-one. Can't say enough good things about him. *Almost* made me like math!

Great professor! Very helpful and gives tons of extra credit. He really wants you to understand and love math. Attend class and you can't go wrong. 5 quizzes, daily homework, and final. If you get a strong enough A during the semester, you're exempt from the final! :) TAKE HIM!!

AMAZING prof. Goes slow enough that everyone can understand. Works through every homework prob you have a question on. Does not give you the tricky prob on tests. Lots of extra credit. He's a bit quirky but kinda cracks me up.

Prof. Cook is a great teacher and person. He is lenient and wants his students to earn high grades. I wanted to schedule a webcourse but once I saw he taught precalc I decided to schedule on campus. We are almost finished and I have another A+. You can't go wrong. Thanks Prof. Cook.

Professor Cook is an awesome teacher. He will help you with anything you don't understand, and you actually learn things in his class. He is also really nice, fair, and funny. He does give a lot of extra credit, so if you do your homework its not hard to get an A. I just wish he taught Calculus I and II because I would love to have him again.
