If you want to learn about public speaking or want to become a stronger speaker DO NOT take this class with this professor. Her "lectures" are not about public speaking at all, rather they are her going off on a tangent about her life problems or complaining about modern culture. She picks favorites and grades on bias opinion. Worst professor ever.

A living meme. She rambles about her life, roasts students in class, and barely talks about the class content. You'll have no idea what the tests are about or what your grade is, because she's very old school and doesn't do online. I went to her office and got her to like me, which saved my grade. She's an interesting lady, good luck!

Although she is a nice and caring professor, she is unclear on certain assignments and is picky as well on how outlines are down. Other than that I liked the material that was taught even though she was all over the place when lecturing.

She was very passionate and always urged us to be vocal and confident. Attendance is mandatory; expects students to be on time and ready for all class sessions. One novel was required, which was a bit difficult to enjoy. Only 3 speeches in the class, two of which were group speeches. Highly suggest participating, she appreciates that.

Professor cares about the material but assignments and homework are confusing at times. She doesn't really specify things and I didn't know my grade throughout the semester. Found the class really interesting but moderately difficult because she grades on outlines and other small assignments. She takes attendance and participation matters.

She's not a bad professor, it's just at times she's not very clear on the assignments and I feel as though she could cut us some slack as most of us are terrified of public speaking. She does try to make us feel at ease but her strict rubric makes it even more nerve-wracking. Not a lot of work to do, 3 speeches, few lab reports, and readings.

I'm currently taking her AAS 151 and we're halfway through the semester. All we've done so far is ONE speech. Usually all we do is listen to her talk about her life. She is very strong in her beliefs and wants us to think the way she does. She thinks that if we dont agree with her, There is something wrong with us. DONT take any of her classes!!!

As an Engineering Student, I took this course just for General Education Requirements. This class is NOT hard, but you are required to put work into it. How much work? Honestly not lot, 2-3 hours a week. I would stay after class to make a short conversations with her to sweeten up to her. That's how I got my A and I thought this class was useless.

I have never met a worse professor. We spent the majority of class listening to her life story and she LOVES to pick on people like a middle school bully. She didnt know that Africans came to America as slaves, not immigrants and does not have the decency to be respectful to other opinions (besides hers). I wouldnt wish this class upon anyone.

Her class was tough. Her lectures are very hard to follow because its never about just one topic. She tells a lot of personal stories so most of the class time is spent like that and the last few minutes are about the actual work. You NEED to show up to every class or you will be behind. I struggled a lot but she helped me pass. She's a good person

THIS IS FOR GWS 100 Try to avoid this professor! If you know you are lazy, don't take this class. Also, she's very unclear, so always pay attention. Do all the assignments and you'll pass, midterm and final is an essay. She's tough grader, so everything exactly the way she wants. If you're struggling, she will help pass some way. Good luck!

This class is lecture-based. She always goes on talking about her personal stories and how each student she be classy. Yes the problem has many problems and not everyone will be "classy," but people shouldn't be judged if we truly not do not know their story. She goes off the book, so it is required to read. Many outlines, one midterm and final.

Avoid at all costs. The syllabus is bad and doesn't explain homework, and the links don't work. She talks about nothing that has to do with the mid term essay during class, she rants about her life. She does not tell you if you have homework and you only get 2 or 3 homework assignments missing from the syllabus. Wouldn't reccomend to anyone.

Professor Lee rants in class about her life. When she does talk about the course reading, she summarizes it (sometimes inaccurately), makes broad claims about it, and introduces irrelevant ideas. She expects students to agree with her. For grades, she tells students what her criteria is and says that she grades according to it, but doesnt do so.

Do not take any class this woman teaches. All she does constantly is rant and talk about her life. She makes students read a course reader she created and do outline off it, but she doesn't even cover them in class, or outright lies about the info. Sher grading for everything makes no sense, and what she wants from you isn't any better.

She opens your eyes to Asian American women issues, but make sure to do your outlines asap! There is few hw and barely any quizzes, so try to work hard on them. Midterm and final were essays, she's a tough grader but you just need to understand and write in her pov. Visit her during office hours and sit in different parts of the classroom, trust me

She sometimes lectures but she likes to rant about today's politics most of the time. Her rubric and instructions for getting an A during an Exam is very unclear since everyone in the class followed them and no one got anything above a B-. Coming from a Computer Science Student who gets A's and B's this is the first grade below B- that I'm getting.
