Mr. Mommsen is a great professor. He shared many stories of him being in the Navy. He is a bit quite and his lectures are very quick. If you ask him to go back on his Powerpoints, he usually doesn't mind. I highly recommend this professor and class to anyone.

Mr. Mommsen is awsome. He is a sweet old man. His teast are easy and you can go on a trip the the south coast in the summer which is alot of fun and interesting, you get to learn and see alot of cool stuff. easy and fun science credit

Great class. I had no interest in oceanography at all except for dolphins and three months later I got to go to Australia and use stuff I learned from Mr. Mommson while snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. Mrs. Mommson is the best...she invites the class over for a really nice party every semester.
