(Psych 570) I've never felt so disrespected in my life and I had it confirmed by multiple classmates that I was being held to a different standard than the rest of the class. VERY inaccessible and has even ignored emails from me despite repeatedly saying I would be happy to meet in person to discuss. NOT at all helpful or supportive.

Comment:

Have had him for 2 classes - amazing, brilliant lecturer and is usually very validating of any comments students have to add (psychologist for ya!). Tests are difficult and always require in-depth application of concepts learned in class along with a ton of writing. Doesn't take attendance, but not a blow-off class by any means.

One of my favorite professors. He has very high expectations and can be seen as being too harsh. He knows what he's talking about and good at teaching. His lectures are very dense so you learn a lot, but he keeps it interesting at the same time.

Comment:

Very nice lectures. Interesting material and is presented well. He is helpful and approachable after class. He is clear with expectation and grading criteria. Offered review sessions before tests, which are great opportunities to knock down last minute questions.

Comment:

This class was relatively straight forward and very interesting. The part that made it hard was that only 3 grades went into the final grade: 2 tests and a research paper. It's ok to slack off a little during the term, but make sure to study hard for the tests!
