Good professor, great lecturer. Most of the people complaining about him just didnt do well in the class because they didnt try and expect to be given things. He made the material enjoyable and cared about the students.

I enjoyed this Professor. His examples in class really helps you understand the material. Because of this class I was able to learn more about accounting. You still have to study on your own. But his workout problems in class really helps.

Does not respond to emails, lack of clarity on instructions regarding change of accounting practice. I found this course more difficult than Intermediate 1. Read the book and went to class, the exams were still tough. We need more accounting professors at UH who actually teach. Accounting is a complex subject and should be treated as such.

Ed is gives amazing lectures that focus in the material that is most important from the chapters. Gives great examples that help you remember concepts and doesn't throw curve balls at you in the exam. Exam 2 is probably the hardest but he teaches it in a very effective way that is easy to remember. Overall he's really a priceless prof at Bauer.

One of my favorite accounting professors at UH. He makes his lectures very interesting even when its a boring subject. Do all the homework's and the project, because it will really help your grade in the end. He gives extra credit towards the exams- so do it because you will always get full credit for it. Do class problems to prepare for exams!

I have very mixed emotions about Dr. Nathan. His exams were very difficult, even after studying for days on end. Mathematically, he does a very good job at teaching the material, but conceptually, there are some pieces missing. Overall, not great, not terrible. 2 exams, 1 cumulative final, homework, and a project.

Professor Nathan is a great professor! He is kind, caring, hilarious, and gives great lectures! He helps students understand the material in an informal environment. I would highly recommend him for intermediate accounting 2. The course overall is tough and requires alot of studying but the hw and project are an easy 20% of your grade.

There are 3 exams plus a final. Drops the lowest test grade with final exam grade. Two online projects He really puts forth an effort to make sure his students understand the material. He makes sure his lectures are not long and boring so he cracks jokes often. He is pretty clear on how the test would look like. Take good notes!

The test are easy. Although he doesn't write the "conceptual" topics down on the board, if you listen, pay attention, and write key points in your notes, you will not need to read the book for the "details". He gives you what you need to make an "A" in the class. If you study your notes, work all assignments given, then you'll easily get an "A".

Attending class is essential to pass the course and reading the book helps a lot. He gives examples and clarifies any in doubts in class. He also lets you see your test afterwards so that you can see where you may have missed a few points. He is a great professor and I hope I can take him for Intermediate 2

He is a good professor. Tries to be funny. Class isn't too boring. He doesn't read from PPT slides. He solves problems from book in class, so you can engage yourself. Exams are very hard. No templates, just blank white paper. Attendance not mandatory, but DO GO, bc the problems he goes does in class will be on exam. HW is long & time consuming

This is an excellent teacher that uses humor in his lectures to keep things upbeat. You MUST read the book and do many problems or you will become lost fast. He offers extra credit and will award a B letter grade if you make in the 75-79 range. The one semester project seems hard but it is not.

I found his course more difficult than Intermediate I. Make sure you read every chapter before lectures or you will be lost during class. Make sure you look at all of the problems done in class and in the homework when studying for exams.

He's is a great teacher. He's funny and makes the subject less boring. His homework, projects, and extra credit grades are based on completion. He works problems out on the board and explains things very well. His notes are very helpful so I advise you not miss class. The only problem is, his notes can be a bit unorganized at times.

I took Dr. Nathan in 1993 during graduate school. He was the best accounting teacher I ever had. Now I teach accounting and I still use his stories. I tell all my students to take him when they get to UofH. Keep of the good work Dr. Natan!

Definitely the best professor I've ever had (I've reserved saying that until now). He's studied how to teach & is very funny. Class is very hard, hardest you'll take & he'll tell u that. I almost never go to class but always did here cause he makes it easier to understand than the book. Most important:go to lecture & record it!

I would never have thought that my funniest professor would be one in accounting, but he is! He's the BEST! Hmwk and project are completion grades. Very difficult class, no mistake about that...but he's my favorite professor ever! Wish he taught more acct classes. Go to every class, do every hmwk, take goooood notes.
