Honestly, if you don't study you will not pass. Study the book everyday and if she sees that ur genuinely interested she will help you. She told me specifically that she can't stand lazy direspectful students. I studied hard and got an A in this class.

This teacher was horrible. She was nice to me because I had an interest in Spanish. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! YOU WILL NOT LEARN ANYTHING!!! She made us study answers from the textbook. She didn't teach, she wrote a few notes and told us WE HAVE TO MEMORIZE EVERYTHING. I didn't learn anything from this class so I dropped it. Waste of my money. :-(

this woman is beyond useless!!! if you actually want to learn spanish, this is NOT the class to take...even from someone who speaks spanish, my highest grade on one of her tests is an 83...after getting 100 on my regents...and she requires you use the website that goes with the book if you want to pass.

Ok, so one time I missed test, I told her the reason, she didnt let me take a test, she said i will hv to come during Winter session. When i asked why(?) she yelled - BECAUSE I SAID SO!!! this pissed me off, cause she dsnt hv a right talk to me like that. I wrote 3 complaints about her. Dean arranged me to take a test next week.She is crazy!!!!!!!

People, if u wanna learn something, please, please, dnt even think of taking her cause she is the worst of all. Absolutely inpersonal, no motivation. She stands in front of the class and reads the book. Verbal teaching doesnt help! She never wrote on the board if we asked her. She said we have to know this stuff.

Its her way or the highway, you can get all the answers grammaticaly correct and make sense but if its not EXACTLY how she told u to write it in class then she will mark you wrong. I got a 92 in my spanish III regents and still got two 50s on her tests. Def not a good class for the beginner espanolean :)

I was very disappointed with this class. I agree with the other comments. The teaching style is poor & not very inspiring. It really was a waste of money & time. I was frustrated with her style. I wld strongly recommend you to request another teacher if you receive her. As an intro' to Spanish, I thought that it shld be made fun. It wasn't.

its an e-z class if u can stay awke b/c all u have 2 do is memorize the workbook answers, but if u wanna learn spanish dont tke her class...she isnt flexible @ all & and will mark an answer wrng if u mispell slighlty..If u take her class u may need 2 drink a big cup of coffee b4 u get there or if u wanna catch up on some z's thn tke her class...

This is my opinion only. This lady didnt teach me a single thing, I dont know anything about sp12 except I know how to memorize answers. Thats all this class was. She just reads from the book for two hours, you might as well take an online class. If you really want to learn spanish then dont take her class. She is a terrible teacher.

Without a doubt,this is the worst teacher I have ever experienced.Teaches nothing!She stands there reading the book to you that you could read yourself.Explains very little,even when you ask. Sarcastic and mean with many of her comments.Tests are out of the workbook but it must be EXACT.Inflexable,will fail you in a heartbeat.Needs to retire-Awful!

I had her for three hours and too bad we were only aloud 3 absences. She talks like a lamb...low and shaky, repeats herself too much and it is really hard to stay awake in there

The worst teacher! She taught me ZERO spanish but my memorization skils are now incredible!! All tests are taken EXACTLY from the work book and shee tells you which ones she is using..MEMORIZE THE ANSWER KEY FOR AN EASY A!! DOnt take if you want to ACTUALLy learn something.

She would not speak to the class in English. She was hard to follow. Her tests were very easy, but we did not learn that until after taking the 1st test. She takes the exercises directly from the work book, which has the answer key. So if you study the work book you are ok.
