First day of class he said no rumors from rate my professor of all the negative feedback. To be honest he is so fair, respected and really cares for the students past, present and future. I love professors like these. More need to be like Dr. O.

I took him for applied anatomy and he is a great professor. He knows what he is talking about and gives out study guides for tests that are the answers, he will give 60 out of 100 answers. If you go to SEC that counts as extra credit, up to ten points. and even things outside like seminars that he will count as additional extra.

I room him for A&P I definitely recommend him he gives you the answers to over half the test so its almost impossible to fail . However, do not use your phone during class or interrupt his lectures. He gives you a lot of opportunity to get extra credit up to 20 points

I would not take this professor unless you are able to teach yourself outside of class. During lecture, he will go off on a tangent about how he is an outstanding professor of the university and forget to teach. He gives you part of the exam for the study guide, but it is things we NEVER discussd, only found in the book, which makes it hard to pass

IDK what everyone is crying about. I taken him for 3 classes and got all A's Yes he has an accent, yes he repeats himself, yes he forgets stuff, but he is super easy grader. He gives you half of exam (legit) as a study guide. If you become friends with him he will curve you. Be respectful study & ull pass, cant do that than what u doing in college?

(Applied A & P), (LAB). Steer clear from this guy. Literally the worst professor Ive ever had, rambles on for hours about nonsense, and you basically have to teach yourself. Very thick Nigerian accent, and extremely boring class. Hes literally nuts and anyone whos ever taken him will know what Im talking about.

I honestly do not write many reviews for professors but I strongly recommend not taking him as a professor. He does not teach very well so you are teaching yourself (which is fine), but he doesn't help students when they need help. Many students went to him asking for help and he shrugged them off multiple times. Do not get on his bad side.

This class was horrible and I'm a good student. The tests are ridiculous. His lectures are pointless. You're basically teaching yourself.

I personally did not like his class. He thinks he's mightier than thou. His tests are really hard too, but he does give extra credit. You have to WORK for the extra credit. Go to 10 hours of tutoring for ten points on a grade. He wasn't helpful either.

Dr. Onaivi teaches in lecture halls so there isn't one on one help with him. You'll have to go to the SEC for help. He tells you half of the test questions before the test. A lot of the other test questions can be found at the end of the chapters in the book. He hates cell phones, and is also picky about other classroom etiquette.

Great professor. Don't get too friendly though. He gives you a practice exam which literally has 50% of the questions on the actual exam. Study the guide and the practice problems in the text book. He wishes for his students to do well so take advantage of the extra credit opportunities. I studied, went to tutoring, and earned an A.

Respect, respect, respect. You do that and you should do fine. Very hard to read him.He gives you every opportunity to succeed,but everyone was scared of him. Do the work,read his PPTs, and do the extra credit and you should be ok.

Required work for this class is minimal (only 3 exams). His lectures are fast moving and a little hard to follow, so it is important to read prior to class. The study guide he provides before the exam contains exact questions from the exam, so memorize it! Also, attend tutoring at the Science Enrichment Center to receive extra credit points.

Dr. Onaivi is a good guy. He wants his students to do well and is willing to help them. He gives out great review sheets for the test, which have questions that are usually on the test. Go to the extra credit he offers and you'll do fine! Definitely try to take him for both lab & lecture. I got an A, it's really not that hard if you try.

The material for the class is a lot but he finds a way to make it work! He wants everyone to do well and offers a lot of extra credit. The tests are literally the review sheets he gives and the white pages at the end of the chapters. He is an amazing professor!

He's very intelligent and strict, but teaches you lots of important information. The class requires attendance even though he rarely takes it (only on exam days), 4 exams 100 questions, he gives you the powerpoint slides and review sheets to study from. He makes the class interesting when he talks about sex & his study on marijuana lol.

Comment:

Nice guy .. A little crazy when taking exams his favorite phrases are ""the nitty gritty" or "plzz I don't want to call the police" with his thick accent. He gives you review sheets that are what's exactly on the exam and in the same order. And the rest of the exam comes from the end of each chapter the exact ques. If you study those or even just memorize you'll be fine. Do extra credit it's worth it he gives up to 20points
