Easiest teacher ever. 2 easy papers that are basically about your feelings. 1 exam that is take home... and each class is just him lecturing. He really encourages class feedback and involvement. I stopped showing up towards the end and got an A.

Comment:

Prof. Rodriguez may come off as rude but he's not. Rodriguez is very blunt and brutally honest. His lectures are amazing and it's always fun to hear his life stories. Have to be present to class, no more than 3 absences or he WILL drop you. Very funny and inspiring. READ the assigned material and you will pass. His favorite word TENGA!

I just studied the notes, and would easily pass the tests. He's very specific on how he wants your essays on the tests to be formatted. Do not go late. He'll assign you an essay on why you shouldn't be late. He'll put you on the spot if you talk back, he doesn't believe in "there are no such things as stupid questions" didnt use book PS: TENGA

Do that extra credit! It's a whole grade difference! Love him. He's honest & straight to the point. He's also funny if you like that old school Mexican type stuff. Sit in the front cause it might be hard to read his cursive in the back. Every answer for the tests are given via class notes or the book section he assigned. Just never forget to study

One word: "Tenga!" Prof. Rodriguez can come across as harsh and rude, but if you stick through you'll see that he really does know his stuff. He is an older dude, but is definitely likable. Funny. Kind of loud. Take clear notes and make sure you know what you are writing about, don't come unprepared for the quizzes!! Do not be late!

Took Soc. 2 with him and loved it. What he asks of you is not hard. Show up on time and don't miss class. Yes his teaching methods are different but he means well. Not meant for overly sensitive people. He's a realist. I was late once and yes there were consequences but luckily i share the same sense of humor as him. Ha! He knows his stuff though

Not really sure if he actually cares about his students but he's definitely hard on them. He puts them in the spotlight every chance he gets by humiliating them. Don't ever be late for his class. His exams aren't hard if you read the book AND take good class notes. The book doesn't cover everything on the exam

He comes off pretty rude but if don't mind him and just do everything he asks you should be able to pass. It's not hard to get an A if you study for all your exams. He's very precise about everything he wants so pay attention to what he asks for. He tends to put his students in the spotlight every chance he can. Drops the lowest test grade

HE IS HARD ON HIS STUDENTS, however it's a good thing because he does it for their own good, he cares for his students. He is strict when it comes to exams and extra credit assignments. SO LISTEN for directions when he gives you any regarding hw or exams because HE WILL take off points. But other than that he is a really great professor.

I decided to take classes at LACC, i picked his class and i love it, he teaches in a way to motive students to do better in life, follow their dreams, and continue with education, the first two weeks he seems so strict after that you can just go, chill and that do your work, great professor if you want an easy A take him.

I loved this class... He emphasizes education. There is no reason to not do well in his class if you study. I recommend taking his class as long as you can be on time, and study your notes! Excellent.
