I was apprehensive about taking this professor due to the comments and ratings listed on this site. It is a mandatory class for HR majors. I have to say that I'm glad the posting were wrong. He gives weekly quizzes about based on the reading. If more than 50% of class gets question wrong he throws out the question & this brings your avg. up.

His lecture wasn't clear enough or structure to that of the text. Lessons was on powerpoints, some cases in text. His exams were confusing and timed, some case analysis that were on exams weren't discussed during his lectures, although this was open notes/text. From my perspective his lectures wasn't clear and concise with his curriculum.

This guy is a prison guard. no talking, no noise. Too many absenties = grade dropped. He is pretty easy. but he doesn't too much seem to know what he is talking about. class is all powerpoints.Take him, easy pass. study pp because test are really detailed. Open notes, but he doesn't give a lot of valuable information for test. He is soon to retire

Confusing tests, open notes are of no help! Prof. creates his own questions. Multiple choice tests! out of 40 questions, he only gives you about one hour to complete the test. not a nice attitude, uses a microphone to amplify his voice in the room which is of no help. When asking questions during lectures, he has no answers.

HE DOES HAVE AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM, BORING CLASS GOES OVER POWER POINT SLIDES, YES 3 TEST, OPEN NOTES, CREATES HIS OWN QUESTIONS THAT TAKES TIME TO READ AND ONLY GIVES U ABOUT AN HOUR FOR THE TEST. GETS UPSET IF YOU COUGH OR SNEEZE DURING HIS LECTURE. SO IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY. I PERSONALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PERSON.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! he's a GREAT teacher. very helpful and knows his stuff. i really wasn't interested in law before his class, BUT now i WANT to learn more about it. i LOVED this class. TAKE HIM!!!

Good teacher, knows what he is talking about. There are three test, open notes. He lets you know the topic's of each test before you take it. He also drops a test question if 50% or more of the class missed that question. Overall easy class.

GREAT TEACHER !!! This was a very interesting class and Professor Strier made it easy to learn and stay interested. His tests are taken from his lectures and his lectures are clear and informative. Would recommend this teacher for any subject. He is indeed a pleasure.

really cool teacher. he's funny, and the class is very easy. you get three exams, there's a curve where if more than 50% of the class misses a question, he makes that question extra credit. MAKE SURE YOU TALK A LOT IN THE CLASS, MEANING COMMENTS, AND ANSWERING QUESTIONS, he came up to me on final day and gave me extra credit, i got an A!
