I had Dr. Saba for 4 different classes. He is an expert in distance education and his teaching style models the teacher you will need to be if you specialize in distance education. It is up to the learner to find what is needed and to ask for help. The help is there when asked. While the style may no appeal to everyone, he is outstanding!

Yes, I agree with most of the posts here. Dr. Saba is VERY knowledgeable in distance ed. However, he did NOT work with me on turning in an assignment late when I had already made plans to go out of town prior to taking his course. It all worked out but I'm just saying.

Building a web site without help is difficult if you don't have experience. class is completely self directed so if you want to do well go to the computer lab for help and read up on web design any where you can. You will spend a lot of time on your project and the quality of your work will be based on how much research of web design you do.

Dr. Saba teaches in a futuristic (post-modernistic) manner trying to personalize your education by giving you the freedom to determine your course of study. He is a leader in his field. His lectures and class discussion reflects his intense passion for distance education. He is extremely helpful and a very humble individual. Highly recommended!! A+

I have had Dr. Saba for two different classes, and he seems very organized and very clear about what the requirements are, which are many. He does require a lot. I had problems (not his fault) that made my work late, and he was very understanding and kind. He is one of THE people in his field, too!

This is the most lame class! Dr. Saba is very unclear about what the assignments are. 4 weeks before the end of the semester, he changed all the grading requirements. He doesn't teach at all. You pretty much have to figure out how to make your own website and everything else. Super bad teacher!
