Guys I'm telling you. Some of the reviews on here are exaggerated. As long as you do the work and study (since this IS college), you'll pass. His course is not difficult. It's straight forward and simple. The textbook is not necessary. Just show up and pay attention.

Great class, and amazing professor! Makes the material easier because Economtrics is difficult in general. You will learn a lot in his class, he will be one of the best professors you will have!

Professor Kushnirsky is a good teacher but you have to know how to take his class. Do the homework and study the notes and you'll do great. The class is really hard but he makes what he wants crystal clear. Class also gets easier as it goes on. Also I hate to say this because he is nice but its really hard to stay awake sometimes.

Attendance is a must because everything is based off of his lectures. I recommend that you do the hws a couple of days in advance because they will take some time and effort. He has a dry sense of humor and may seem rude at times, but get a thick skin, go to his office hours, show him that you put some effort into the hw and he'll be reasonable.

I wish I never took this class, got a good grade but worked way to hard for it. hard to understand with class - doesn't explain the software well. Hard to reach out of class, in class you miss one step your basically screwed. Study groups are must if you stand a chance. Can be harsh sometimes towards students.

GREAT TEACHER! I was reluctant to take his class after reading the reviews.. I am glad I did though!! He talks slow but clear! Who falls asleep - it is their fault that they do not pay attention! He only has 2 exams, just like homeworks. Wants you to understand the material! I Studied less than 10h the whole semester, Got a solid A! (85isA-)

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Guys, do not pay attention to the previous comments. The teacher explains everything clearly. The exams are very staightforward and only cover material which is given in class and homework. If you come to class, write down notes and study before the exam, you will get at least B. Great teacher.

Hands down the worst teacher I have ever had. He is extremely smart but does not teach in a way that is understandable to students. When you ask any questions, he treats you like you are stupid. His teachings are not what is in the book. His accent is so thick and his teaching is so drawn out. Do anything you can to not take this professor.

He is the worst teacher I've ever had. He does not explain clearly for students who ask questions in class. Not inspiring at all.. He used 40 mins to lecture materials which require only for 20 mins. Cannot follow him with all the rest of useless background information. But he can help you personally for homework.

His teaching style is very old fashion. He is extremely knowledable in his field but doesnt know how to simplify things for those not in the major. He only sees things his way. Class is a mid term and a final with homework that is worth 10% and is similar to the exams. You must know the material and not just memorize or you will fail.

insanely boring class. if u skip class you might miss examples on how to do certain hw problems. always go to the review class bc he goes over hw problems and his exam are based on the hw. however the 1st MT was 40% and the final was 50% of your grade. so its risky & there's no extra credit.

He knows what he is talking about but he refuses to speak to people as though they are children. He will NOT spoonfeed his students. I enjoyed his class a great deal. To be properly prepared for 251 you should take econ 202 first or else he will lose you since you wont really know alot of the terminology that he uses.

The class is somewhat boring but you can easily pass the course. 85 is an A- in his grading system. Just study the homework problems and you will do fine in the exams. Don't need to buy the textbook, take lecture notes and you will be fine.

I'm not sure why people have problems with him. I think he's great. He's fair...It's not like the material is new. In fact, trivial. Actually, I think the class could be a bit more challenging. Love the accent - it's vampire -ish....

like said before - this class is like retaking stat. you wont learn much but if you memorize how to do the homework (he reviews the answers in class), you'll do good. boring class and thick accent makes it hard to pay attention throughout.
