Great prof. Be sure to print notes online and take notes in class. You can use them on all tests. She gives some extra credit. Grades a little tough, but that's understandable since you have the answers in front of you when taking the test. She lets class out early about half the time. Sometimes half hour early. Take her for LE

Comment:

Great prof, I loved this class and had no prior interest in law. Really made the class interesting, uses great examples applied toward the material(and often similar to cases on the quizzes/final/midterm). She also posts all grades online so you know where you stand.

Great class! She kept the classes interesting with lots of stories and case studies. The team project is pretty easy to do and doesn't take much time. The concepts are interesting but some of them are hard to pick up. She lets you use notes on the all the quizzes and tests.

Sometimes she had an attitude, but overall pretty nice. As long as you came to class, did the group project and invidual case assignment,you should get at least a B. Online quizzes were open book/note. Midterm was open note. Final was open book/note. Didnt use the textbook that much, although it did help to reference it from time to time.

I have to laugh at the previous posts about her not caring about students. If you even show remote interest and participate she is willing to help in any way. She also extends her knowledge in offering to help in any area a student may question. She is very intelligent with a great sense of humor. Open book tests, open note mid terms, etc..

I really like this teacher! Her lectures are pretty interesting. She cares about teaching the main points and not about wasting everyones time with super long lectures and busy work. Had weekly cases to complete but they didn't take long. We also had an online final so we could use our notes. I got an A in the class.

I can understand how some wouldn't like her attitude. That being said class was fairly simple. 8 Quizes online she drops the lowest one. 3 quizes in class where you have to write a short essay. Have to do the same on the midterm. Sit next to smart people cause thats how she assigns group projects. Have to do two group projects. An easy B+ can get A

Great Class! 2 exams (midterm and final), both are open-note. Final is done online, so it is open book as well. Online quizzes due every week, very easy, come right from her chapter outlines that she posts on blackboard. Group work pretty easy as well (IRAC case from bk and group research). One Individual IRAC case due as well. Pretty Easy Class

I love this class and this professor. All the reason why I am going to law school. She taught LE 452 and 453 really well. I would take them over again. LE 453 was alot easy and less work that 452. Only 5 people in the class. Just IRAC cases, mid term and final. AWESOME teacher.

This professor is great! Every teacher can't be a breeze. She teaches the material and explains well. I don't agree that it is either her way or no way. She encourages participation. I would definitely take her class again!

Seems genuinely interested in teaching and her students but BEWARE of this professor! She appears to harbor grudges against students who ask questions contrary to the material she is presenting. She's smart but does not like students who ask challenging questions. Keep your mouth shut & just do the time - it will all be over in 4 months.

only one who teaches the class so u have no choice if you are in SOM. play by her rules and youll be fine. online quizes are not too bad, some can be tricky. class is interesting, good discussions. midterm hurt alot of people even though it was open note. group assignments are not too bad, but hard to get full credit. final is easy. got an A.

I loved this class and the professor. I never realized how much I liked the subject of law until this class. I have decided to take LE 453 and apply to law school. The work is composed of quizes which are online, a mid-term essay test in which you can use notes, and an online final that comes from the quizes. Not hard at all.

Great teacher!! She is willing to help in anyway she can. She made law very interesting and kept the class laughing. I enjoy professors who enjoy what they do. She was very professional and has allowed me to realize law is something that I want to do for the rest of my life. Don't play her off though or she can be rough.

She is a wonderful teacher. I learned a lot, and she is keeps it very interesting. The class is pretty easy. I recommend going to class. There were online quizzes weekly, one online exam, and one in class exam, and couple of small assignments. Great class!!
