Comment:

Pr. Harrison is a sweet man. He post the notes after every class but materials is heavy and complex so you wanna show up. You can tell he loves math and he really tries to make it enjoyable, but lectures are kinda boring. Very helpful during office hours!

Comment:

Homework is actually helpful in understanding the subject, unless you struggle in statistics you really only need to do the homework to study for tests. Lectures can be a bit monotonous for this class but it's mostly just copying for the board and every other week you have a graded worksheet with a partner. Prof will answer questions clearly!!

Great teacher, he adds a little humor into class and he explains things well. Sometimes he may go too fast, but you can tell it's because he is enjoying what he is doing. He also always has a day before the test to go over any questions you have. Very helpful. Recommend.

Dr. Harrison is a bit dry but very helpful and explains problems very well. Basically all the problems on the test are ones he's been over in class. Attendance is not mandatory but attending all the classes basically assures a good grade. He gives a lot of time for you to do labs and homework and they are easy ways to boost your grade. TAKE HIM!

Very helpful outside of class! I went to every class and at times the classes were confusing. I went in his office and he was very helpful! He has terrible handwriting! The 246 Lab co-requisite was pretty difficult if you don't have prior experience, but he is helpful with that too! He gives harder homework to practice than the tests are.

Harrison is a great professor. I absolutely hated math before this class. He explains everything so well. I had no problem in this class at all. Attendance isn't mandatory. I skipped a lot and still made a great grade. His labs are fun, class can be dry, but its math=P Anyway, no complaints

One of the best professors I've ever had. The material was difficult but he is extremely clear and very willing to meet and help outside of class. His tests are very fair. I would highly recommend him if you get the change.

WONDERFUL professor. very helpful. very easy to understand. great sense of humor. more than willing to schedule extra time outside office hours to help you. gives lots of review before tests. dedicates whole class periods to reviewing. lots of extra credit. enjoys teaching. one of the BEST! I had an extremely hard time in this class. The material I did learn I did so in the Math Lab. He got frustrated when I asked a question and annoyed when I went to his office hours. Moves extremely quickly -- confusing (not mandatory) lectures

Dr. Harrison is a fun and fair prof who really cares about his students. His classes can be difficult, but he does a good job of explaining topics. Homework assignments and in-class labs count a lot towards your grades, and are very helpful when prepairing for tests. This was my second time taking him and I would gladly take him again.

Comment:

Dr. Harrison is one professor who radiates with the spirit of teaching. If you suck at math, there's not much he can do, however, he will try his best to make sure there are no misunderstandings. Easy tests, Weekly HW assignments, overall a great guy (sometimes throws a little wit in the mix with all those numbers!) I highly recommend him.

Easy. Harrison's a very nice guy. The lab was something of a pointless class, but I didn't have an option to take it. Show up, rewrite a clean copy of the lab and turn it in the next week or the same day if you want. This class does help somewhat if you need extra reinforcement of the material covered in math 120.

Had him for Honors Calc II. REALLY nice guy, as long as you don't make him hate you. Do your homework, talk to him a bit, and come by for help when you need it, he's always happy to help. His lectures can be a bit straining, but he's nice enough and fun enough that it's still bearable. Take him!
