Dr. Buzzy is the crème de la crème of professors. He is intelligent, caring, accessible, & friendly. He taught me how to study & learn rather than memorize & regurgitate. His courses were monumental in preparing me for law enforcement & later doctoral work. His love for teaching and investment in students is evident. Can't speak highly enough!

Dr. Buzzy is an extremely smart man, yet this particular class is a writing class and it is not fun. It says it is a report writing class but do not be fooled. He spends all semester teaching you APA formatting and then takes the final 2 weeks of school to go over police report writing. This class is challenging and there is about 3 or 4 papers.

Dr. Buzzy is an interesting, theatrical teacher who really cares about his students. He is a challenging teacher-don't expect an easy A or an easy B for that matter. Warning: If you sit in the front, he will use you as examples and make fun of you. You may be the guilty felon, the person chosen to be cannibalized or the man who slept with his wife.

This guy is awesome. He's not always good at dumbing things down for you, so some might think he's not clear. But if you have some common sense you can follow along and you will learn a lot. After taking this class I think I want to be a prosecutor, lol.

Professor Buzzy is hands down one of the best kept secrets that LU has to offer. He is extremely difficult and challenging but will stretch your knowledge and thinking processes beyond what they are now. An absolute MUST for a professor. Humorous and real, Dr. Buzzy, lays it out the way it is.

Dr. Buzzy has by far taught me the most about law enforcement during my academic career. His class was difficult, however the time and effort was well worth it. If you are interested in learning a lot about your profession in law or policing, etc., please take his class!

This class was so interesting! I always looked foward to going to class because of his teaching style. He's willing to spend time with you helping you understand the material if you don't understand it. His tests are incredibly hard, and you def have to keep up when he's lecturing because he goes so fast. Highly recommended!! Fun class!!

Excellent teacher and now my unofficial law school mentor. Highly recommend to all interested in public service or law. Wealth of knowledge, entertaining and creative teaching methods, and genuinely cares about ALL of his students. Will pray for his students and coach them spiritually, academically, socially. The most beneficial class if you want to go to law school. It is important to learn from someone familiar with the legal field & law school process. Very blunt and truthful. Very agreeable personality, and can be talked to and confided in. Unlike Clauson passionate theoretics, Buzzy has a very practical working method of teaching. He is willing to work with you regarding any assignments and work you may have, and his comments are quite helpful. He can be unorthodox in his apparent abrasiveness. Case in Point: In a lecture regarding inappropriate communication, he casually said 'I don't give a damn'. Got the classes (and CFAWs) attention. Approve.

If you like to hear about drugs, gun, and sex this is the class for you. Ever wanted to be a **** or ****ed out well like it or not it's coming if your taking Buzzy. Buzzy uses creative illustrations to get across his points. I found him very entertaining and at time educating.

Buzzy is definitely one of the more intelligent professors in the Business program. He keeps things lively by pointing you out and throwing you into potential situations - very funny. If you have a personality, then it is probable that you will enjoy this class.
