Comment:

He rambles on about worldly matters that you may have no understanding about unless you watch the news everyday. At times he drifts so far away from the original topic that it is difficult to understand what his point is. He's brash at times but don't take it personally, that's just how he is to everyone. He's a stickler for due dates too.

Seems like a nice guy, but rambles A LOT. Doesn't like power points so types sloppy notes on word. Tests are incredibly hard and poorly written, but don't worry, when the whole class fails he'll add a 20 point curve

Really Awesome teacher. Had him for senior seminar and political economy. Super hard material, but I learned a lot. Really tough grader, but everyone really got their money's worth for information. Really smart guy with a lot of experience. He is tough so be ready to work, but it is very rewarding even to get a B

Comment:

Dull and Painful Class! He speaks in a monotone voice, does not believe in powerpoints so his notes on the board bounce around all over the place, and if you don't agree with him he will argue with you. Very opinionated and not open to other ideas. Asked him if I could take a quiz early b/c I was going out of town and he made it harder and longer.

GREAT guy, awesome professor! I would highly recommend his Political Economy class. He explains things thoroughly, and sends out class notes and study guides for exams, so it's pretty difficult to not do well if you apply yourself at all. Readings aren't even necessary unless you don't get the material (I did 0). AND no final exam for "A" students!

Dr. Drew's Political Economy class is fantastic. One of my fav subjects. His class is structured so that you discuss markets in relation to the state. I've seen other professors use more of a comparative philosophical approach, where his class is more about real world issues. Course work is dense, but he answers emails like a boss. Read the books!

He is the most opinionated teacher in the planet. You either agree with him or you are wrong. His assignments feel like busy work and his corrections are a joke. I will not take another class from him

This man is amazing. By far one of the best teachers I have ever had in my life. He's ridiculously knowledgeable about things that you wouldn't expect him to know about, and knows his subject inside and out. He really opened my eyes and helped my understanding of political economy. Oh, and this class is brutal. Dumb kids, stay out.

Dr. Drew has his tenure and he's not afraid to use it! He speaks his mind, and he'll tell you exactly why you're wrong or right. This can be a bit scary at first, but in general, this is what makes him such a great prof. Overall I'd be surprised to find out if anyone *didn't* learn a great deal from him!

Awesome class. I didn't get an A but did enjoy the class. He was a very motivating professor and was understanding when it came to grades and makeups. He's very easy to talk to and his class had some debates i will never forget. He speaks his mind and is not there to babysit but will let you call him at home for anything Excellent Professor!!!

Awesome teacher. I know some people are intimidated by him, but take notes and do your readings. The test are amazingly easy, if you just study the guide he gives you. All-in-all, I'd say he's one of the best Poli Sci teachers I've ever had.

At first I totally hated him, but I think as the semester goes on he really becomes clearer and gets to know his students. I really liked the projects that he made us do, they really opened my eyes to a lot of issues in the world. He's open to helping others, which is nicem and never sugar coats anything. RECOMMENDED for those who want to work=)
