Jarnis' lectures mostly suck. It's not that I didn't ever learn anything from him, as a matter of fact, he taught me about several important concepts, like game theory. No, the problem is that it takes him ten hours to explain a 5 minute idea. He wastes so much time on useless LSD induced analogies.

Dr.Jarnis is one of the most fabulous professors I have ever had! He is a very intelligent person who truly knows how to teach. He was always there so give me the extra help I needed. This class was not an easy A,but I dont believe any Univeristy level should be easy-they should be challenging and stimulating.Dr. Jarnis provides all of the above!

Dr Jarnis is the best! He expects his COLLEGE students to act and work as such. His lectures are knowledgable and it is clear that he has a passion for his job. I would take another class with him for sure, you would be missing out if you didn't!

I have taken Election and campaign strategy and Public Management with this professor. Most classes you will have case studies or a project, often times group work. He is a fair grader. His lectures can be long and boring if you don't find the subject interesting. If you go to his office hours he is usually helpful.

I have one of the best QPA's in my major and you know what...Jarnis is NOT AN EASY A. I like a challenge but this man is a nightmare! it is obvious that he is unhappy with his career and life, so he takes it out on the students. AVOID THIS MAN!

i worked my butt off and did well, but let me tell you how awful the classes are... he's terrible... lectures put you to sleep, and the very thought of attending class makes you cry. avoid him if you possibly can. ok guy, but bad professor

this professor is amazing. amazingly bad. do not buy the text book entitled "public administration in america" for you will waste 50 dollars that could be used on purchasing the caffine pills that you will need to stay awake in his class. don't
