Comment:
Dr. Marmolejo was the worst professor I have had thus far. Her tests make absolutely no sense (you think you know the answers its something else entirely). She does not encourage her students and instead blames THEM for failing or not doing well. I am not sure why she still works at WSU.

She is a very nice person and cares about her students. I was able to understand the lectures pretty well, but sometimes we would run out of time in class and we would have to finish teaching ourselves the topic. She also had a lot of homework (at least one quiz a week) and the midterm and final are each worth 20% of the final grade.

I have never felt more enraged after working on any class . Theres homework every daywhich will take you about 3 hours to do and you'llstill fail. As a statistics minor i thought i knew what I was doing. But the way she teaches it is so confusing, and outdated I was stuck on questions i knew the answers too but couldn't solve 1 of 30 ways she shows

Never take this professor. Her lectures make zero sense as well a her assignments. For every topic there is a short topic test worth 15 points. The questions on the tests never cover anything learned in class. For assignments she grades them as either all points received or none. So one error means u get zero points on already hard work

DO NOT TAKE DR. MARMOLEJO'S CLASSES! She is an awful teacher and does not do a good job explaining any of the material she teaches. You have to read the whole book if you want to learn anything from her classes. She does an awful job explaining homework, quizzes, and exams. Stay clear from her.

Dr. Marmolejo is a nice teacher but lacks the ability to grade assignments in a timely manner. I wasnt completely sure what I was getting in her class because she has large homework assignments (worth 40 or 50 points) and takes weeks to grade them. She also does not do a very good job of telling students about her homework expectations.

Dr. Marmolejo is so far the worst professor that I have ever had. She expects you to read her mind. She only goes over one example for what topic you are on and anything that she does not teach will mostly likely be on the test, so make sure you read the chapters. She makes a big deal if she has to go over something twice. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!

Gloria was my advisor as well as being my professor for Cross-Cultural Psychology. Started the semester with 22 people and ended with 6. The best grade in the class was a C. She was in denial that we were all failing everything and wouldn't allow us to correct her exam questions, which were frequently and blatantly wrong. 0/10 would not recommend.

This is one of the worst classes I have taken. She doesn't give notes and goes so fast through her powerpoint you can't even write it down. This class is very book heavy and you are given a topic test every week. She also has her grades from 60%-79% as a C.

She is absolutely awful. Completely unrealistic with her expectations of the students. Assigns way to much homework and her reasoning is that her youngest daughter gets math hw everyday so we should. Topic tests (quizzes) every single class period. Completely scatter brained. Makes her quizzes and tests hard to understand, won't explains things.

She wouldn't help me when I had specific questions on that I had gotten wrong. You'll ask her about one thing, and she'll basically tell you that you should have learned it during lecture or to find it in the book. Do you think I'd be asking you if I hadn't already looked there?!?!

I've never worked so hard in my life for an A. I don't think Gloria is that bad, I've had worse, but she isn't an easy teacher. My issue is her test/quiz questions aren't 'which one is correct'? it's 'which one is the MOST correct?' which is BS. I wouldn't recommend taking her, I don't plan on taking her again. If you have her, you better be ready

Gloria is so nice during class, and she makes everything seem pretty easy. BUT the test are nothing what you talk about in class and in the book. She makes the questions herself so they are VERY confusing. Also she acts like everyone is doing well on the test or the quizzes but in all reality the whole class fails them. DONT TAKE HER!!!

The worst professor I have ever had! She does not care whether you succeed in her class or not. She is unhelpful when you need help in her class, as well as, in denial when students are struggling. Also, her tests are extremely difficult because there is multiple answers that could work for one question. Do not take any of her classes!!!!!!!!!!

Out of my 5 semesters in college, Gloria is probably the worst professor I've had. She has unrealistic expectations and her way of teaching is just very confusing. Please avoid taking her unless you want your grades/GPA to suffer.

She is by far the worst statistics professor I've had. Her expectations in the class are very unclear and she is rude and unhelpful. The amount of time needed to do homework and study is unrealistic. And her "formula" sheet is a mess. AVOID TAKING HER!

Gloria is a very sweet woman. The problem is, she's lost her touch as a professor. In my experience, she's been just about everything but helpful. She doesn't check calculations, causing her to ask students answers in class. Topic tests are nearly every class period, she refuses to curve, and says the textbook is wrong. Thick accent, hardest class.
