Wow. A little crazy. I mean this guy is not a good teacher for people who are not academics. Very strong opinions about is good and what is not. Didn't learn much of anything, other than he took up 60 percent of my time. He will take up alot of your time, that's guaranteed.

Hands down, best prof I ever had. Perfect moderation of discussion, asked the right questions to keep the ball rolling, and great at tying various comments together. Very hard grader, but alway generous with advice to improve writing. He is uncompromising, which some students find hard to deal with, I guess.

Gordon is a wonderful professor, very interested in his subject, and very good at the art of simply teaching. However, out of class, I found him to be incredibly unhelpful (and unduly rude) in dealing with students with learning disabilities.
