Gus is an interesting guy. The movies shown were pretty aweful. I'm a biochemistry major, just took it for an elective so it was an extremely easy A+. I put in probably 1 hour of studying every month and got close to 100% in the class.I thought the class would be more fun, but I guess I'm just not cut out for independent films, He's a funny guy tho

Gus Edwards was a great teacher. Extremely helpful in his points of view of the world. The study guides were exactly like the tests. So if you study, you'll do well. His stories on who he's met and his career was really inspiring. He taught me practical things about film, i didn't really think to know.

Gus is awesome. I don't know how I'm doing in the class right now because I bombed the last couple of tests, but it's not because he's a bad teacher, just that I'm a huge slacker. At any rate, his class is really interesting, I love his stories about the people he's met in the course of his career, and I've gotten to see some amazing movies.

I had foreign films with Gus and he is an awesome teacher. Even if you aren't studying film, it's a great class to take. It's fun and you see great films. Gus is a really interesting guy and he has a lot of knowledge about film. Definitely take any of his classes.

Definition of an easy A. I enjoyed about half of the movies shown. He gives a study guide that basically has 90% of the questions that will be asked on the tests. The other 10% comes from watching the films. There are 3 tests and no homework. I found some of the lectures fairly boring, but sometimes he would say some really funny stuff.

Incredible teacher. The kind of teacher you hope to have once before you leave college. Very enthusiastic about the subject matter.
