easy chill teacher. but what ever you do. DO NOT!! text in class or do other math hw and such. you can do other hw that is related to english! just pretend you are interested and pay attention. DO NOT text or use electronic device in class! but other than that he is chill.

I didn't even go the class half the time and still got an A. For the other half, he didn't show up. I only attended 7 or 8 lectures out of 6 weeks of summer. Just do your assigned work. He's fairly laid back. I must admit that the literature he assigns is really good and easy to understand. Don't get lazy.

he was one of the best teachers ive had in my 5 years of college. he assigned really cool literature for hw and was fairly laid back. i added his class so that i wouldnt get lazy over the summer and i ended up getting alot out of it. he's funny and tells some really awesome stories. disregard the tattle-tale comments from the goody-two-shoe crowd

Dont even come to class and get an A. I saw him inputting final grades before we turned in the final & final essays. All grades were A's. Easiest class ever taken. also, he repeats the same lecture every single day, so no point in going. also, class is cancelled most the time anyway. Honestly: sign up for the class.never go(he wont drop).Get an A.

I like Mr Card a lot. he is so laid back, easy teacher and helpful even during summer. Just do his assigned problems and you will get an A. I highly recommend his class because English will never be easier if you do not take him

I WISH EVERY ENGLISH PROFESSOR WAS LIKE CARD...HE LETS US OUT EARLY, CANCELS CLASS, AND IS VERY LAID BACK. I NEVER REALLY CAME TO CLASS OR DID THE READINGS AND I STILL GOT AN A. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SLEEP IN HIS CLASS HE WONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOU...IF YOU DO SLEEP..HE'LL WAKE YOU UP HAHA OVERALL AWESOME GUY OVERALL!!

This Man is the sweetest funniest man EVER!! he is very laid back and liberal. I highlyyy recommend this teacher.. for an English Class I was surprised how NOT demanding it was. He is great! and I actually learned alot even though we NEVER had class... at least 70% canceled and the rest out after 5minutes to and hour. Awesome man!! YOU ROCK!

Well coming to the class is like gambling.. will he be there? or not?.. he is kinda wasting his students time, and it is disrespectful. BUT, he is the best and the clearest teacher that I ever had! explains exactly what you missed and what you should re-write. If you like teachers that not sitting on your neck, he is the write one for you.RECOMMEND

I would not recomment taking Professor Card's class if you are serious about learning. You do not learn much, and have no control over your grade. He does not really look at papers, he does not pass papers back, he does not give you quality advice, you never know your grade, and class is either let out early or canceled every day. Great lazy class.

Incredibly easy. Had a class that was supposed to last till 6pm, almost always got out before 5pm. Like other's have said if you want to learn something, he's not the person to teach. But I just wanted to pass and this was by far the easiest class I've taken to date.
