Comment:

Paying attention to the lectures and LearnSmarts are pretty much the key to passing this class. As long as you keep up with your work and actually try on the quizzes, you should have no problem getting a B in this class. With a little extra effort in studying (mostly the lecture notes) an A is also manageable.

Comment:

Watch all of the lecture (she'll reference in class examples on the exam). I never once opened the textbook, I only read the study guide from study cube and got an A on every exam. There's only 3 exams with 5 chapters each so you have to memorize ALOT of info for each test. Her power points are just an outline of the book so you need to read.

I dont ever post comments on this site.But,for this teacher I must make an exception.I have had her for two courses already.What I can tell you guys is that these were the most realistic classes I have taken in college.Straight forward,honest,not based on what if but on what really is.And when your getting prepared for the real world,that matters.

Great professor. Extremely respectful and caring of her students. The tests are not a piece of cake, but A's are absolutely possible with a decent amount of effort (this is college, effort is required.) Buy the textbook and read the chapters and you'll do well. I got an A and that's why I did. Attendance is a must!

SHE IS VERY NICE AND MAKES THE CLASS INTERESTING BUT HER TESTS ARE ALMOST IMPOSSBIBLE TO GET A GOOD GRADE ON. SHE GRADES VERY HARSHLY AND NO EXTRA CREDIT AT ALL. I ENJOYED HER CLASS BUT HATED THE GRADES I GOT.

Class is interesting & attendence is something you have to stay on top, but when it comes to test a 74 is a good average. Quizes every week pretty easy if you can remember to take them but test are hard and no extra credit. Its a class where you can easily do bad and unable to redeem yourself before the semester end.

Comment:

She's very fair with both her grading and how she treats her students. Gives everyone a chance, no such thing as favoritism over race/sex/culture/status/etc. Treats everyone respectfully, as long as you give her respect as well. Very helpful and kind, explains things further if needed. She really helped make this project experience better!!

She's amazing! Very helpful and supportive of the teams. Clear instructions but will explain better if you ask her to. Always willing to help her students. Goes above and beyond to help students learn and have a good experience. Don't be afraid to ask questions or trust in her if you're having problems, especially with your team. Very Supportive :)

I'd be very careful before selecting professor. She is not very clear on instructions. Needs to make her work concrete to reduce the amount of rework. She is very helpful and genuine in helping. Professor needs to take control of situations where there is team conflict and use good judgment and not creating favoritism over certain cultures

She is a wonderful teacher. I had her for Cornerstone's Lab Section and she was extremely easy to please. Dr. Ford is the one who has a pathetic teaching style!

Her lectures were very clear and understandable. The material covered was what we were tested on, except for a few chapters we were assigned to read (I didn't read them). The tests were fair. I hardly studied and got an A overall. She does make the class interesting, though the material isn't.
