She was easy. Lots of extra credit. The tests are all online...meaning you can use your book. But do not rely only on the book. Do the work and read the chapter before coming to class. Put forth the effort but she will not take crap. Very nice. A decent grader. Goes by the point system!

Im currently enrolled in her psychology course right now and I HATE IT!! I do not recommend her to anyone because she is too picky, not helpful and she gives out too much work. She thinks she's the only class you should be focused on. RUN the other direction!!!

Comment:

I took this class for Dual Enrollment since I'm still in high school and I was quite nervous. Mrs. Labell is a GREAT teacher. She's expects you to act like adults and she is very funny. She makes her lectures very interesting and I'm now interested in pursuing a Psychology major. Just make sure to read your textbook and you'll be fine.

Not a bad professor. I found the class to be easy just read your book and then take the test each week. Simple process, plus you get three chances a test. She is no non-sense and expects you to act like adults in college. And she is picky on the final project but overall she wasn't difficult to get along with. Would Reccommend

Professor Labell is excellent, but this is no bird course. She doesn't "give" A's; they have to be earned. College level work is expected. She is helpful, fair, and consistent. Her lectures were much more interesting than the book.

This Class was okay. Usually the stuff she went over in class wasn't on this test, but it's an online test and you have three attempts. Group assignments are a bit unorganized. She was a good teacher but I wouldn't take her again in the future.

While participating in her Humanities class online. I did decent on quizzes but failed discussions. I sent her an email asking why I was getting such low grades and was told that I had done none of the work. I then forwarded her an email showing that I had done all of my work, I got no email back and my grades stayed the same.

Was ok. She rally dont go over things that were on the test. Take test the day it opens so if u have any problems she can restart the test for you. Do the game project. It's a lot easier and you can use them as the final exam.

Too critical. Gave extra credit but doesn't make earning anything easy. She is not mean but has raised her voice a few times. Take it from me you don't want to take her unless you are ready to be a teacher's pet in order to get on her caring side.

I really enjoyed Ms. Labell's class. Sometimes she would not go over what was on the exam, but it still wasn't bad. I got over an A in this class, but I really worked hard for it. Do the extra credit, that will help boost your grade. I really enjoyed her personality and enthusiasm. I recommend her, but you will work for your grade.

She was not that great of a teacher. The tests were on blackboard and you had three attempts but some of the wording or the question in general would sometimes be something we did not go over. As for the group project, she told me that I did not do enough, though I did the same amount of work as my group members.

She's a decent teacher. She gives test weekly. She's personable, but she talks a lot about her life verse the lesson which keeps us from covering all the material we need to know for the test so it makes it difficult. I sugest her if you like to read read read without a lot of her help, but if not I wouldn't suggest her.

Professor Labell is pretty helpful. I put in minimal time and got a B. She knows her crap and will teach you if you want to learn but weather you do or don't you will prolly get a good grade! She ends the class very cool quizes are a bit hard but they are open book, note and can take them 3 times very doable! I recomend you take her

Prof. Labell is was of the best. She helps as best as she could but she will not spoon feed. I wish she taught every subject. I took her for DEP and PSY, A's in both. If you fail you just did not try at all.

Professor Label is awesome. If you do what is asked or you and what is outlined in the syllabus then this should be an easy A for both Psychology and Human Growth and Development. She has a ton of knowledge and loves to teach! I never dreaded going to class once in her class! I honestly say I am going to miss her!
