This professor has his microphone off half of the time. He is also completely oblivious to everything that goes on, when a student raises their hand he will completely disregard them and move on. Furthermore, he is perhaps the worst teacher I have ever had. You will have to learn everything yourself if you take his class.

WORST teacher ever. do not take him, he is about 85 years old and so boring everyone fell asleep everyday i could never make it a full class and ended up dropping it because hes so monotone and cant teach. your not allowed to use calculators and all the hw is handwritten not online

If possible try to get another professor. He is ancient so he has a hard time teaching through the entire lecture. I think as long as you do the homework, and just go to class sometimes to learn the material.. its an easy A.

I took this class my first semester of my freshman year and greatly debated dropping out of ASU because I was so afraid that ll of the teachers were like this. Worst math teacher EVER. Not helpful and I was concerned for his health due to the fact that he couldn't get through an entire lecture without having to sit and talk to waste time. BEWARE!

Most definitely the worst teacher I have ever had. He's like 90 years old, he scribbles on the board and stands in front of it and whispers so you can not see or hear him. He gets upset if you ask a question, and he does not allow you to use a calculator on the exams. I am very good at math and I can't learn from him. ASU should force him to retire

I thought Prof. Moore was a great teacher. His lectures were slow, and boring, and he had a very monotonous voice, but he explained everything in a crystal clear manner. An extremely easy class, I got an A. His tests are straight forward and simple.

Awful teacher. Hard to pay attention during class because he is so old and his old mind wanders off into irrelevent topics and he talks so slow. I took calculus my senior year in high school and this class was still hard. Also, THE GUY SWEATS THROUGH HIS SHOUDLDERS! Yes, that's right, his SHOULDERS! ENOUGH SAID.

Wow, all I have to say is be prepared to "Check his webpage..." cuz that is about all your going to do in this class. Very boring, knows the material but seems to like teaching it in a confusing way just to make his students suffer. Going to class is pointless except to pick up HW and tests. Moore seems to think his webpage can do all of his work..

He is the most confusing teacher ever. Moore is old and mumbles all the time. When somebody asks a question he critize them, and completely go off to something else. The only good thing about this teacher is 2/4 exams are easy.

Do not take this professor. He is very unclear, his website is confusing and outdated. Hard to remain focused during lecture because he is boring and scatterbrained. My friend and I literally taught ourselves everything outside of lecture. Does not use the book and often teaches methods differently. Save yourself a great deal of energy and avoid.

I read the other comments before taking his class, and thought i could handle it. I WAS WRONG. he is the wrost teacher ever! He goes off topic, doesn't tell you formulas to use, and makes you feel stupid if you ask a question. The semester is almost over and I dont know one thing about calculus. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!

I've taken calculus before so this was easy for me. However, he is really not organized, doesn't know what he's talking about and everything is all over the place. I stopped goign to class and just turned in homework, took the tests, and studied on my own. I got an A at the end of the semester. If you are a first timer, avoid this teacher RUN!!

Heard he was a bad teacher but omg he is awful. Would always say "don't be afraid to ask/answer questions" don't do it, even if you're right he'll make you feel retarded. Everything on tests were completely different than what was taught in class (and different format) and in the book. Try to avoid this professor as much as possible.
