The best professor this college has to offer. He was so unbelievably helpful inside and outside the classroom. Not too tough of a grader and very knowledgable about his subject matter . Don't be afraid to ask him for help outside class he really enjoys working with students and wants to see them succeed.

Comment:

Jack Ryan is probably the most influential and genuinely interested professors on campus. Very willing to meet for drafts and revisions, and encourages students to become strong writers. Also great recommendations for English classes and teachers. He even got me started with the school paper, which is something I never imagined myself doing.

I loved Prof. Ryan....really engaged students and encouraged them to write. Not hard, but you do have to put in the time. All in all, take one of his classes. I know he had an influence on my decision to become a minor.

Ryan is a good prof who keeps class interesting through his jovial and familiar presentation of topics. If you go to class and do the work, you can get a good grade pretty easily.
