I absolutely loved taking this course online! Professor Behan was so cool and his assignments were really interesting. He was very understanding and replied to emails asap. He is specific about what he wants when it comes to assignments but as long as you follow the given guidelines there shouldn't be a problem. Its a lot of essays so beware.

If you love art this is the class for you! He was an easy grader but there was a lot of reading and photography involved. Imagination and attention to detail is helpful. He allows you to turn in homework late for partial points credit and at the end of the semester before the final he considered unsubmitted homework for partial points credit.

I took this Professor for winter and it was overall good. homework everyday it would take me hours to do the assignments but if you did them , his grading would be satisfying.

This professor differently gives a lot of writing assignments. It could be a bit exhausting if you take his class as a flex term class (like I did). Just know that if you actually do the assignments, his grading would be satisfying. I am warning you that you must write 4 sentences (paragraph) for him not to take of points. You have been warned.

I took this course online and it was sort of challenging. Behan was a tough grader and his feedback couldn't really help me improve. This really stressed me out. I kept losing point after point. I ended with an A but it definitely wasn't easy. Get ready to be READING the texting and writing long papers. Took me hours to do the reading assignments.

Professor Behan was an alright professor. He is very passionate about art and makes sure everyone knows it. He assigns tons of homework, readings, and tests. If you show up to class, do the work, and participate you should be able to pass.

I do not suggest him if you want to keep enjoying art. He is heartless. I tried to do all of the work but he gave me point off every time, for no reason. If you have to take this class do not do it over winter break or flex terms. Homework everyday. He will take points off if he does not agree with you.

Professor Behan is a very passionate educator and wants you to be very detail. This is a required elective course for dcccd, if you're looking for a easy A w/o doing work this is not who you want to take. ALL his assignments require a lot of writing, but if you apply yourself and do the work you will pass with an A.

He was a great instructor. His lessons were pretty easy if you referenced your book. It was a lot of writing papers but if you payed attention you were fine. HE DOES NOT ACCEPT LATE WORK WHATSOEVER. One time we had an important paper due before midnight and I was only a few seconds late in turning it and I recieve a 0. So please manage your time.

Professor Behan is an amazing instructor. I took him on a winter term and although there were due dates weekly, his instructions were clear. It is a great online class, I felt like I knew him as I were attending class in person. Easy class as long as you read the textbook because reflections are based on the readings.

Took him for wintermester. Really good instructor. His class was easy to pass IF you do all his assignments. He gave us all the work at once so we could work at our own pace and actually handed it out early. Grades easy. Definitely recommend him if you aren't interested in art since he made it as interesting as possible.

Summer 2015 Hybrid Class: You have to do 10 reflections (5 questions each), 3 field assignments (2 musuems&1theater), a creative project (taking a picture), 6 in class group assignments, final written exam (online) and one extra credit (go to writing center). It is a lot of work but you can do it, its not that hard, he grades easy.

I took this class in the winter term. There is a lot of work, but its easy. The class lectures are fun and interesting. Hes very clear on explaining the work. The textbook was a must, since he assigned questions out of it often.
