He is extremely disorganized. He lost my midterm and never it gave it back to me. You have no clue what your final grade is and you can't prove you did an assignment if he doesn't give back to you. Do NOT take him. He needs to retire.

I took this class for my first semester and I have nothing against the professor but he really does lecture a lot. I think he forgets he's dealing with a classroom full of teenagers who really could care less about the topic so he should at least engage with the class and make it more exciting. Very Lecture heavy and just keeps going on and on

Has a extreme wealth of knowledge in the subject. Tries to help students as much as possible but gives too many assignments. He is definitely a guiding figure and a very Holy priest.

He is a sweet man. He does give a lot of assignments after watching films but they are not that bad. He also forgets to put in your grades sometimes so follow up with him and show him what you got on assignments. I mean he's ok his exams seem hard but they are not as bad as they seem. The films we watched were good so not a bad choice. Lot of work.

You have no clue what grade you get on any assignment. You will get back the midterm but it has nothing to do with the final. You have one group project, and two essays which are take home. Very boring, don't learn much. If he doesn't like you then you have no chance.

He is a wonderful professor. The class may drag sometimes, but he will show a few clips here and there and sometimes end early. Tests are not easy, but not hard. As far as homework goes, not a lot. His grading criteria is very clear. There is a group project at the end of the semester that is easy. I was supposed to get a C, but he curved my grade.

1 3 hr class/week. Most confused man ever. The class was Theology & Film. We watch movies (some boring ones, some good) & he gives a worksheet to answer questions. That was the bulk of the class. Don't be late. The answers to the tests & worksheets are in book. Book is def not necessary tho. Keep up w/ work cause he loses some or forgets. Easy A.

James King is hands down one the worst professors ive taken ag sju. No only does he assogn grades arbitrarily but he is racially insensitive and just not very intellihent to be quite frank. His theology and film class seems like a good idea on paper but stay away if possible.

Rev. King is the sweetest man. His lectures can be a bit boring and you probably won't understand what he writes on the board but he is so nice. He will help you if you ask and is very understanding. He grades fairly easy. He gives reviews for the quizzes and midterm however they're pretty hard. Just make sure you study and you'll do fine.

Kind of all over, but its not that hard. He gives you sheets before each test or quiz with almost all of the information that will be on the quizes and tests. There is a group project and a couple of papers. As long as you take a couple hours to study every couple of weeks, youll easily get a B+ if not an A

Awful. He asks questions in which you have to give your opinions, and says they're wrong. He comes up with questions off the top of his head, and doesn't understand the material. Midterm, final, group project, and questionnaires. He's nice, but is missing something.

Honors - Easiest honors theo class you will find but don't expect to learn anything. Ther is a significant amount (something like 2 papers, 3 tests, and a group project), but as long as you don't write the work in another language you will get an A. Class notes are critical for the tests. Book is rarely used, so hold off buying it. Definite A

a lot of work for a core class. he's a good guy and will give you a good grade if you do a good job on everything. i regretted taking his class though because it was a lot of work to do- 3/4 papers, 2 presentations, quiz, midterm, and final. i did do my best in everything n got an A, but wouldn't take him again. not enough time in the day for all h
