Dr. Cano is a wonderful teacher and a very kind man. He lays out his expectations and his purpose very clearly the first day, and as he says "will bend over backwards to help you" if you are willing to put the effort forth. All that means is show up to class and ask questions. Easily one of the Best Teachers I've ever had (as a senior)

Dr. Cano does a fantastic job explaining statistics in a simple way, and is very clear about what is on quizzes and exams. Spend time doing practice problems that you may have already completed in class and you will do well in this course.

Great teacher! He explains statistics so a normal person can understand it, tells u when u mess up on a quiz/test before you turn it in, gives lots of examples... lets just say he wants you to get an A!

I was hesitant about taking stats in general but Cano and Epps (TA) did an awesome job teaching the material. It's an easy A. The in-class assignments are just like the quizzes. They go around during quizzes and exams and tell you if you have something wrong.

Man, I can't believe more people haven't rated this dude yet! HE BE THE BOMB. For real, for real. He wants you to get an A so bad, he practically erases wrong answers on your quizes and writes in the correct calculation. Unlike other stats classes, you don't have to memorize any equations. VERY VERY sweet man. I wish he was my uncle. DON'T BUY BOOK
