Johnson was a great professor to take college algebra with. He really wants you to learn the material. You have to put in the work in his class and beware of pop quizzes, so show up on time for class.

Definitely pay attention in class. However, he is willing to see you outside of class during office hours for any additional help or concerns you may have. Also, sometimes he lectures a little fast.

Jay Johnson goes through information very quickly and expects a lot from his classes. He goes through examples but does not thoroughly cover information. I am usually pretty decent at math, but this is the hardest class I have ever taken. I do not recommend it. However, he is more understanding if you're willing to see him during his office hours.
