I took Martin for his descriptive geometry class and did extremely well in it. I would recommend taking Engr 101 prior to this class, since descriptive geometry is just an extension of drafting for the engineering field. Dave is extremely helpful and very knowledgable in what he does.

I took him over the summer and he's a very nice person. Although, you do have to spend $100 for materials, but you'll learn a lot! It's worth it. Just get your projects done early because more projects will be toward the end of the semester, but they will be simpler. Quizes are easy, just get as many projects done as possible. Very fair grader!

You better be one of his favourites, otherwise no matter how good of a work you do, your projects are not going to appear on the walls like other people's appear, but hey EVERYONE can practice CAD, but can anyone practice advanced hand drafting in one semester? HE's real nice professor. WHenever you ask him to help you, he will be right there. His class used to be a lot easy but now, he's grading little strict because of those people at the bottom who said "you can get an A if you can only draw a line." Easy material, but he is not able to help everyone who needs it, so some students have a hard time keeping up. Nothing is "due" until last day of term, but I suggest you turn in work regularly to know your progress. You can turn in projects up to two times (grades are averaged). WOW REALLY NICE AND HELPING PERSON. I ,AJOR IN ARCHITECTURE AND TOOK ALL CLASSES STARTING 101-135, AND I TOOK THEM ALL WHIT MR. DAVE MARTIN. HIGHLY RECOMENDED. Great teacher. The projects he assigns are easy and fun but require alot of work to be put into them. He is extremely helpful and understanding. He is a really nice guy so going into class is always enjoyable. He's an awesome teacher!
