Great class. Very intersting. Tests are pretty tough but if you work hard you'll do ok. They are essay questions only. Final project is tough and I felt I got unfairly grades, but whatever. Take the class if you NEED to but don't try too hard to get into it

Love Dr. M! She is very entertaiing and really knows her stuff. The exams are essay format, but you get a study guide and they are easy if you pay attention during class. She is very helpful and will do anything to help her students succeed. I definitely recommend Dr.M, she's the best.

This is my third class with Dr. M and I have another to take with her next semester. She seems hard to get to know and work with at first, but after a bit, she's so easy to get along with and is so so helpful. She really wants her students to do well and wants them to to excel within the socy field.

Dr M is great! There is a lot of writing involved in the class-make sure you turn in the papers, but they aren't difficult. TONS of extra credit opportunities you can do. Exams aren't the easiest ever, but could be a lot harder. I would recommend her.

Dr. M is an amazing professor, and if you ask questions she will help you any way you can. She offered a significant amount of extra credit points through various activities, which saved me on keeping my A, because my attendance grade sucked. You definitely have to keep up and read AND DO YOUR PAPERS but if you do your work, you will be just fine.

Dr. M is the best! She's clear about her expectations & totally willing to work w/ you to help you meet those expectations. She expects a lot but she gives a lot in return. As my advisor, she has been a huge help to me both inside of class & out. AND she made me realize that research is not so bad afterall :) Only negative: she likes Star Trek- ha

Dr. M is fantastic. She is by far the best professor I had at Radford. She knows sociology and she is a great teacher. Her classes are hard, but if you're willing to do the work it pays off.

Dr. M looks "tough" on the outside but she's a real softy when it comes to helping her students. She expects the best especially for sociology majors. Don't worry though she'll help and guide you all the way until the end. I had her twice my senior year, society and the ind. and research. She is a great teacher and you'll learn a lot! I love her

Good teacher, has great knowledge about the class BUT this class is no easy venture. The paper will take all semester with a presentatino along with it. She knows her stuff and helps in class but you might as well throw out getting help outside of class, ESPECIALLY if you don't go to all of them.

Dr M is one of the best profs here at RU. She is very clear cut in assignments, and is upfront that the key to success in her class is reading. Read and this class is not hard, she is reasonable with assignments, never had to read excessive amounts. Highly recommend, her love for socy reflects.
