If you want him to give ONE F@$K about helping you in ANY way whatsoever, join ECO Car. Otherwise, you are completely useless to him and he doesn't teach adamn thing. Grades are handed to his "helper" students and whatever he feels like giving the others comes from where his head has been shoved up... Bottom line, don't take him. Ever.

Dr. Ku's classes are INSANELY difficult I took Heat Mass Transfer about 8 years ago please forgive me, LOL and it was the hardest class of my BSME. But... Dr. Ku was extremely helpful and he must have seen potential in me because he asked me if I would like to assist him in his NASA research. Most memorable professor of my WSU experience.

Hello all, to those who are not able to learn engineering why you are wasting your time and money to take classes at WSU? Prof. Ku is a simple person and great professor, just respect him and focus to what he is saying, I took all his classes and learned a lot of engineering stuff, work with EcocaEco car and will learn more.

Dr. Ku is one of the most demanding profs and as such, at least 2x as much as other classes, but you learn 2x as much. Far more real world relevant to what you end up doing at automotive company. Used EVE 5310 skills in my current job, also useful for interview topics. He is a weed-out prof that fails the students who should never become engineers.

First of all he is not a good human being. Secondly his approach is out of universe. His assignments are completely useless which he thinks is masterpiece. Take his class only if ur from another universe or have atleast have 10 years of experience in the field he teaches. He is a big jerk as far as I know.

Great professor, if you need to learn Modeling and simulation in MATLAB and SIMULINK take this class, you will learn a lot about hybrid and electric vehicle, do not listen to other students when saying bad thoughts about the prof. just take this class and you will never lose.

Ku is very knowledgeable in Heat Transfer, and he let's you know it. Refuses to answer questions about assigned HW. Refuses to work ex probs in class. Refuses to use the chalkboard. Prefers canned powerpoints: very ineffective for teaching, if you're serious about your students learning. I did well in the class, but put in 50 hrs/week studying.
