Comment:

Dr. C was a very fun, caring and considerate professor. However, his class was dull and didn't teach me what I was hoping to learn. International PR made me think we would look at specific companies and study them, instead we talked about culture, customs and religion. Also, he doesn't follow standard APA style. He is always willing to help though.

I strongly do not recommend this professor. You will spend a lot of time on assignments that he may or may not get around to grading. When he does grade, its tough. But the things he doesn't grade, he will just give you A's on at the end of the semester. Unclear, rambles, no respect for student's time, and incredibly unorganized. Applies to Grad2

Courtwright was a good teacher overall. He is super passionate about his area of teaching and really gets into his lectures. The only issue is he has a very slow rate at returning assignments (if you get them back at all). Besides that issue he responds to questions, very friendly and is there to help all his students whenever needed.

Dr. Courtright comes off as rude at the beginning of class. However, he isn't rude at all! He gives second chances if they are needed. He answers questions that you my have. I had no interest in learning about the environment but somehow made it through this class. Dr. Courtright invites conversation and discussion about issues that are revelant.

I do not recommend this teacher. Very unorganized. He is confusing in class, in syllabus, and guidelines. Did not give us any feedback or grade until the end of the semester. Don't feel like I learned something. The class is supposed to be about International Public Relations and all he talks about is Environmental Communication.

If you are looking for a blow off class, this is definitly it. Courtright is a very nice guy but unorganized is his middle name. Although it can be frustrating not knowing your grade and yada yada.. I can almost promise you'll get an A. So if you're looking to learn, move on. But if you just want a GPA boost definitly take him!

Overall, I had only an okay experience with this class. He is a very nice and understanding guy, but it was a frustrating experience. He is very unorganized and the semester long project was pretty stressful. Grades were never put up until the end of the semester. The upside is that he is very flexible and was always willing to meet students.

He is nice. BUT he is not clear. This class is suppose to be about environmental communication but all we have been learning about is public relation theories, which are still not taught clearly. Avoid him if you can.

Intolerable. Never received grades until the end. Only uses his own published works as readings and guidelines. Completely unclear about assignments. Very frustrating as a teacher. Very smart, but very frustrating. Absolutely hated this experience. Strongly recommend against taking this professor.

He tries to stay on top of his schedule, but it never happens. He is a nice guy both in and out of class. I would avoid his courses if possible. Teaching methods are not consistent, bringing clarity to material or readings is a rarity, and his grading is sporadic. And that is when he actually returns your assignment.

Courtright is the worst professors I have ever had. He is rude, only cares about his research, and doesn't have any respect for his students. He isn't organized and just assigns things as he feels and doesn't give you grades. He is opinionated and a horrible professor. DO not take him. YOu will learn nothing and he will not bother to explain

Ugh.He never is organized or on schedule with the class and his lectures are basically just for him so he can hear himself talk, sometimes to the point where he doesn't even remember he didn't teach what he put on the study guide. I was very excited about the content of the class...until I he started teaching. Avoid.

He is so rude! I don't even know if I am going to pass this class because of his rediculous grading standards and lack of returning grades. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS! I am taking an online class and basically want to shoot myself before asking him a question because his answers are so rude. The instructions to papers which he claims are clear.. no.

I had him for multiple classes he NEVER gives back papers until the next semester. You NEVER have a clue what your getting in the class and he has no way to tell you. The only good thing is he often scales back assignments at the end
