She is awful at grading work and returning it on time. Im afraid you will not have any idea of your final grade until its posted. She is okay as a person but awful as a prof. Tons of useless busy work. If you can take another class, do it.

I liked Jen as a person, but not so much as a teacher. She assigns WAY too many outlines to do on readings that are long and boring. There is only a midterm and a final which are not too hard because you get a 4x6 note card. The class is not too bad, but the homework literally killed me.

Dr. Huntley takes forever to respond to emails and doesn't present the course material clearly. She is always late posting assignments and then expects you to get them done on time. Don't count on getting anything graded either, she takes months to post scores.

If you get a be on thee first assignment, then you get a B in the class, that's how she grades.She could care less about her students . Her interests lie outside the classroom with her hobbies like being head of the Sierra club, so that means teaching and any sort of classroom punctuality or grading homework is last on her agenda.

This is the worst class I have EVER taken in my four years at UNR. Mrs. Huntley Smith will not respond to emails, it will take her weeks. All of her grading criteria says "there is no right answer" - encouraging you to discuss your own opinion- but she will grade you low on everything. AVOID.

Huntley-Smith is a strange cat. Of course, her intrusive liberal opinions distract from her teaching, but she is just weird when it comes to how she treats students. She can be nice one moment and straight up beachy the next for no reason. Not a tough class but didn't learn much except her opinions.

She was a very good and understanding person. She should have failed me but didn't. I think that yes she maybe very liberal, she is still a open minded person. Her CH class was a blast. Worth taking a class from her if you get the chance. She also know a lot of interesting information.

She is a happy optimistic person, almost to the point where she is hard to take seriously. She is extremely opinionated, and will present somewhat one-sided arguments but the workload is easy to deal with and her mistakes give you room for leverage.

She's really nice, but showed up 15min late to an exam and expected us to finish in time. Goes off on random tangents. The best lecture was one in which she wasn't there at all, and a TA presented. She knows her stuff, but the class wasn't that great!
