Comment:

She's nice, but Dr. Blue makes this class drag on forever and painful to sit through. She can teach and express the material in the book, but she is largely unhelpful when it comes to actually giving us answers to clicker questions. She also doesn't assign work until the last minute. If seriously interested in this class, take someone else.

Terrible professor for college level physics. Do not take her unless you already understand physics and don't need to go to class. Makes mistakes daily, talks to class as if you're all five year olds and doesn't even try to make herself available at all to help you outside of class.

Overall, a great professor who truly does care about her students, despite what some may say. Office hours are a must, but guess what... welcome to physics!! It's the same case with any other professor because physics demands 1 on 1 instruction to supplement a large lecture. Very helpful, very humorous, and frankly, does a great job! Recommended!

Even though this is an intro class, she uses examples that assume we already know complex concepts. The only way I received my grade was through direct study of the book. If you want an A, read the 1000-page book. If B is ok, good class to take.

I took her over the summer for phy181. She explained physics as well as I've seen it done, and more importantly, her exams covered the homework- no trick questions, no stuff that wasn't in the book or anything like that. She has a pleasant personality too.

She really makes things clear & gives good notes in class. HERE'S A HINT TO GET AN A: Go to her office hours the night before the exam - she's really nice & will stay there forever explaining the stuff and, eh hem, it really proved useful on the test!!!

Dr. Blue is a great teacher. She is very enthuasiastic about physics and manages to make it bearable, which is no easy task. She is very funny and willing to help students. Her tests cover the main concepts and don't bother with annoying details.

Seems to have a genuine regard of students when one on one, but is a terrible teacher. TERRIBLE. Not testing students over their overall comprehension of the material, but simply a few concepts out of numerous that she covers in tiny period of time
