Comment:

He's rude & uses foul language. He's a drinks a lot. He rambles & he assigns LOTS of reading; he expects a lot of studying & discussion. His textbook is terrible & he shows up in ratty clothes. He ignores his boss & TAs do a lot of his job. That being said, he really knows his subject matter and if you can stomach him you'll learn a lot.

Worst professor ever. Don't have him! He's pompous, rude, and generally inconsiderate. Thinks very highly of himself. Only shows up for 1/3 of lectures. Gets off topic all the time. Readings are super biased as is the textbook that HE himself wrote. Bad professor, poorly organized course.

Simply put, Rosati's the best professor I've had at USC. He doesn't give a completely easy class - expect to read, and read a lot. But he doesn't place arbitrary attendance requirements on students, though you'd be wise to attend as many lectures as you can. Highly recommend.

Because this is a film class, all we did was watch movies. The discussions were interesting and I learned a lot. Grade is a composite of 4 pretty easy journal analyses and 1 final exam. He is kinda rude but he is a very smart man. Made a B+.

Smart man, knows what he is talking about. get the book he will use it alot. Hard tests but you will always remember what he says. The guest speakers are great and a very interesting man...i urge you to take him, an awesome professor

Rosati is an amazing Professor. I took him for both 101 and 111 and loved it. He has unorthodox teaching methods but they are easy to catch on too. You really don't need to read for his class, just pay attention at lectures. He doesn't care about attendance and all in all, he's an awesome professor.

Rosati is an amazing professor. He loves to teach and is passionate about everything poli sci. this particular class i took (111) was a one time deal and it was a great experience. You leave his classes actually learning something that you don't feel like you're going to erase from your memory after the final. Take him- esp. if youre a poli major

Class was cool and so was Rosati. One of the best professors I have had here at USC. There is a alot of reading for his class, but the TAs help you if you didn't read. The class was on the Iraq War so it was cool. Overall a fairly easy B+ or A depending how much work you do

Two books, three tests (which one is dropped), a final, and lots of extra credit on tests. Smart man but reminds you of Captain Jack Sparrow and gets off topic easily. Tests come straight from lectures in class. Go to class and you have to make a B or higher. Going to class is key to making a good grade. no essays. was a very interesting class

I freakin loveee Rosati! I dont know what all these people are talking about with all the negativity. Yes- theres a lot of reading material, but the reading is actually very interesting especially if you were interested enough to take the class to begin with. He's got a great sense of humor and a passion for what he teaches. Highly reccommended!

An 'A' requires lots of effort!! He often doesnt cover all that comes on the test..DO THE READING..TONS OF MATERIALS! This class was not fun, rather boring ..expects more than what a student should know and do>!!

Great teacher. Show up for class. Do the reading. He drops one out of the three exams. He is very interesting and gives you a much broader look at the world. Don't forget do the reading and go to class, if you do you will get that A. College does require some work you know.

if you like reading and interpreting from the book, this class is for you, he does go over chapters in clss and will answer any questions. Can be boring, but know his stuff... I would've liked any easier course, but I felt like I learned a lot anyways, for a 101 class at least...

Boring, arrogant, confusing, not helpful, horrible at answering questions even though he wants class discussions, too much reading that has no purpose except to make a test out of it, the TA was much clearer in teaching, Rosati jumps around a lot on material, my least favorite class, hard tests that don't have a study guide.
