HORRIBLE! On the first day of class, he walks in, doesn't introduce himself or the course, just starts rambling on. Never gave us a syllabus and didn't go over the class. Told us we need to use a specific website for the homework, but never told us how to access it and never posted info on what books we needed. There's more, but limited space here.

Don't take this professor if you actually want to learn Physics. Does not teach during class; he rambles on about things that don't relate to content so it's hard to learn. He provides powerpoints but he narrates them himself and very difficult to understand. You're allowed using the workbook with all the formulas on the exam so it's an easy A.

As long as you do the homework and do good on the lab reports, you will at least pass the class. He has 3 tests and a final and for the first test i bombed it while the other 2 tests + final i got a C on them but with the homework and lab reports added I got a B in the class. He mostly sidetracks a lot during lectures but overall he's a chill prof.

A nice guy and an easy class, but he doesn't really teach at all and when he does he's not the best at explaining concepts. The test problems are basically just taken from the homework, so you can do well as long as you do your homework. Would only recommend his class for phys 100 because i can't see him being any good at teaching anything harder.

Professor Paris is clear with his grading, if you complete your homework (which is submitted through webassign), show up for class, and do fairly well on his tests then you will do just fine. It doesn't take much to get a good grade in his class, just use his PowerPoints and videos to study from. Tests are similar to the homework too!

He is a great professor. His studyguide workbook is very helpful and so are his video lectures. As long as you watch the videos and pay attention in class youll do just fine. He makes class interesting so dont worry youll like it.

It is easy to get an A with just a little effort. I didn't open the book the whole semester. I used his study guide which has all the answers. Study guide helps with online homework. Online HW is almost identical to test. HE will help during & after class with problems you don't understand (or go to tutoring center) Thank god for a good lab partner

He is a good professor, he remembers names so pay attention in class. sometimes you might get a little confused to what he explains but he is willing to work with you. homework and tests are online (and are quite similar) and some homework on the book too.

Professor Paris was a substitute for the remaining 3 weeks of Prof. Smiths class and I feel that I learned more in that three weeks than I learn the whole semester. He used demostrations and assisted with labs. He made sure that you understood the concepts and made physics applicable to everyday life. I plan to take more classes w/him in the future

I would not recommend Paris. He, surprisingly, doesnt teach much in lecture, which is sad since physics is a tough subject. He doesnt really prepare us for his tests, which are also worded terribly. The problems are tricky and are nothing like the HW/book problems. I had to teach myself physics, worked hard, and will only get a B. Take someone else

Paris is an ok teacher but all you have to do is use the workbook that he gives you and you will do good. I had him for summer school and he was really easy. I got a B and it felt like i didn't really work for it too hard.

good guy and a good teacher. I'm currently in his summer course, and as long as you put in some effort to understand the concepts, the class is easy and fun. He doesn't like to repeat himself or answer dumb questions and rightfully so. Online powerpoints are very useful, tests are just like the hw.

He should go down to the lebvel of the students and teach. He makes the class boring. doesnt ensure that students develop in the subject. He doesnt take into account that many of us have not been to school since years. He does not care if the stuff is sinking in the students or not. He is there just to complete the no of hours.

I got an A, but i have to say, he is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. He's very lazy. He just uses old powerpoints and for HW, pays to use the textbook service to assign homework problems for him. He doesn't do any of it himself and doesn't put any effort into actually attempting to understand if the students are grasping material at all.

Online homework boosts your grade, about 20 questions for each with multiple attempts, tests are EXACTLY the homework, workbook with answers in the back, easy labs, fun class. Take him! Took him in the summer and didn't expect physics to be so easy.

Great professor. He will reward you if you are a hard worker. Appreciates students who want to learn but don't ask questions for the sake of asking; this will annoy him. Appreciates students who are on time and pretend to be attentive in class. Dont b jack-azz & u'll be ok.

Rex is not a teacher that will hold your hand. If you expect him to spoon feed you all the material to learn, you will not do well. Time spent reading each chapter and attempting to learn independently is required. That said, the material isn?t that difficult if you put in the effort. Write down important equations, and plug in given variables.
