Comment:

VERY EASY. Took online and you have max two discussion boards a week, midterm and final exam and that is it. The material was pretty much common sense such as social etiquette, morality issues etc. I did not even buy the book and just borrowed a friends for exams, i really did not need one. TAKE THIS CLASS I got an A which is amazing for me.

I took the class online. Lots of reading. The material was interesting and relevant. He states exactly was is expected at the beginning of the course. Post about 100 words a week in several discussion board. Don't forget to give credit where credit is due including siting from the book using page numbers. I got a very high A. I loved the class.

Just finished with this class first summer session '08 and made an A. You are assigned readings each week and then 5-7 discussion board questions to answer based on reading. The reading was crazy b/c the semester was shoved into 5 weeks but if you do the reading, post your position and then respond to classmates, you'll get an A.

Took the class online and made a high A! There is a good bit of reading each week and long discussion boards weekly but if you read there will be no problem with DB's. He clearly states what he expects in syllabus and he stays true to that! Would recommend this professor!

I RECOMMEND taking his online class. The subject matter is HARD as SH** to understand-debating the morality of whistleblowing. Each week you have 1-3 discussion topics. I spend 10+ hrs a week studying. You have to be motivated to keep up. Open book mid-term- YEA! This class is easy BUT you have to read material SEVERAL times to understand it.

This teacher is really great. Its very easy to get a good grade in this class as long as you go to class and take notes. By far my favorite class yet. He also gives review sheets before the test so thats a big bonus there!

Probably my favorite class I've ever taken. No attendance policy but I always went bc I looked forward to his class. Material is sometime hard to comprehend but he somehow makes it really clear and easy to understand. Very interesting as well. He's a funny guy too. One of the best profs I've ever had. Keeps your attention in the morning!

Without a doubt, one of the best professors I have ever had. I was taking Phil 1100 with another professor the same semester, but he made it much more understandable somehow. No attendance policy, but definitely attend class for the notes and examples. He is absolutely hilarious, which kept me awake at 9 a.m.. Such a cute and funny little man.

Demanding Teacher, but excellent. He makes it worth going to class and he is easy to talk to. Very understanding and helpful. He gives you everything you need to pass, but you have to put some effort in for the A, because he actually expects you to learn something! Tough, but worth it!

If you're going to take a philosophy course you must take this teacher. He doesn't have an attendance policy, but trust me, GO TO CLASS! I didn't do any of the reading because its so hard to understand, but I went to almost every class and made an A. Gives great study guides, if you study what he tells you to, you'll do good!
