I didn't know of Fr. Beal's existence until the first semester of my senior year, when I took his course (Marriage and Annulments in the Catholic Church). The class is wonderful, and the man is hilarious. I adore him. If ever I marry, I will find him, and he will preside at my wedding ceremony. I love him, love him, love him.

Fr. Beal was such a wonderful teacher and an even more wonderful man. I talked to him every time I saw him walking around campus and found him to be a gentle, kind man who was genuinely interested in you are what you were up to.

Um, is this the same person? The Fr. Beal I had for Canon Law and Current events was really nice and really easy. We had open book tests based on the notes that he gave us in the first place. The class was interesting to boot- take his class!

Took him for Phil of language...perhaps the hardest class ever... Extremely friendly and nice... always willing to help but if you are not intent on working your ass off... DO NOT TAKE HIM!! But I still enjoyed the classes I went too haha

Father Beal, a professor in the School of Canon Law, is not only an untiring advocate of rights in the Church, but also engages students in the classroom. A man of great intelligence, but also of strength and integrity; CUA is so blessed to have him here!
