Professor Weaver is a very knowledgeable instructor. 4 exams and he drops the lowest one, plus you get to bring a little note card. However, you need to attend his lectures in order to know what to expect on the exams. Did I mention, he posts previous year exams as study guides, totally helps...!

Weaver is a great man out of class, fun to talk to but when it comes to teaching he is horrible!! I made a complete mistake taking him for one whole year, didn't even learned anything to be honest. You barely get back your exams, so calculating your grade was impossible! He loves to yell at students! HOW is he still teaching?

He knows exactly what he's talking about and he's more than willing to answer questions, both in class and during his office hours. He's actually really funny and nice most of the time; the rest of the time he is very irritated by disrespectful youth and the state of the nation. Enroll in the seminar section, for real.

He is very approachable if you actually attempt something on your own first. This is college people. Based on your effort compared to the rest of the class, you should know where you stand gradewise. I think the mystery helps push students to do better everytime. Overall, he is awesome because he even helps out with practice mcat,gre,pcat questions

This professor did not hand back a single lab or homework assignment even though it is a significant part of the grade. He used vast portions of lecture time on personal or off topic stories when it could have been used to go over material. He also would use highly inappropriate language. I cannot recommend him even in the slightest bit.

This prof is unprofessional, doesn't hand back homework, and takes forever to grade exams. Going to lecture (optional) was useless because he would ramble on about unrelated topics and get upset. Lab (mandatory) will be lead by another prof. The only up side is that he is tolerable during his office hours and posts previous exams online.

His lectures were very dry and sometimes even off topic sometimes. It is definitely true that he never would show students their grades for lab, so it was hard to tell where you stood grade wise. Also Weaver was rude. He often got angry had many outbursts. He also made comments that were inappropriate and uncalled for. He is a horrible professor.

he does in fact try to teach you, but he's rude. i avoid him like the plague. I don't like his "funny" comments about hanging people, and i just found him arrogant. But if u get past that and ask him questions he does want to help. however i will not be taking a class with him again. ever.

Donot lsiten to the people complaining! That's because they did not work hard enough! He is a great teacher, yes he IS lazy, but HE DOES know what every student is doing. You think he might not be observing but he does. His class was hard but worthwhile! In the end, he will give u grade you deserve! His class was pretty hard but worthwhile!

He made it clear that he wants to "challenge" us to get rid of those who don't contribute, the 5 percenters (5% of the population that won't ever achieve anything, his words). In actuality, he teaches beyond the course level, never reviews the material, and expects you to know what he knows, it's arrogant

I do not recommend his classes. He is extremely lazy...it took his a whole semester to grade our exams. ... very bad attitute, I was scared to ask him questions. Labs were not expained... no lab safety...you do what you want in the lab.

Great professor. I really recommend to take him. He is very helpful and is always there to help you. Dont need to check his office hours...go always when you need help! Labs are OK, only two lab reports are due. Exams are difficult but if you study you will do fine. Curves a lot, C starts from 50 % or even less!!! Really good teacher!

This chemistry was Ok!Not, so hard, but a lot of studing. Lab is ok! Lacture boring! For tests you need to be good at practice exams,seminar problems and book problems and than you will be able to get good grade.He is nice person, but he is also getting angry fast and he is realy showing that!You will see flying books or pens around the class.
