Very insightful professor and interesting class. He composed the class as discussions which we talked about several interesting topics that related to the assignment. He also has an interesting "best page packet " format. He gives a good amount of reading and D2L post HW but as long as you do work and understand it, you will do fine. I recommend.

Dr. Kloos was annoying and made this class way harder then it needed to be. His quizzes were tough and I read the chapter before every class. I was interested in learning about other religions but he made me dread this class thinking I would fail. I somehow still managed an A even after I almost didn't finish my final, which was 2 essays. Avoid.

Dr. Kloos is a very caring professor. There's a short, fairly easy reading quiz every class, one easy 3pg paper worth most of the your grade (he only reads the first page) and two short in class essays for the final. Just pretend to be passionate about unity among religions in the world and you'll get an easy A. He allows 4 skips.

He's a pretty cool guy. There is a lot of reading and you have to be a good writer because he is a tough grader, class discussions were sort of interesting.

Dr. Kloos is a great teacher!!! Do not enroll in this class if you are a slacker. Take someone else because you will receive a low grade with him. Usually, the class is active, sometimes its not. However, he welcomes creative minds and appreciates participation even though he doesn't mind talking the whole class time.

His lectures are very dry and dull. He is the most picky grader I have ever met! Do not take him if you care for your grade. He does not change it no matter what! Most of the class was reading, quizzes, and papers. If you are not good at reading and writing do not take him. He is too picky with grading papers and exams! Take different teacher.

Professor Kloos is an amazing teacher. You get out of the class what you put into it, but his assignments are interesting and easy to accomplish. More than that, he is a personable professor who will remember your name and details about you even after you've passed. A+

This teacher is incredible and one of the best at Benedictine. There are 2 papers (but really easy), a presentation (part of one of the papers), and a midterm exam. Dr. Kloos is extremely interesting and makes class fun. Take this class if you can.

Overall he's a nice guy. But I dread this class every week. He is the most boring teacher I have ever encountered. If you pay attention and do the readings, you will do great! But for your sanity's sake....pick someone else...

Baptism of Europe was very interesting. Dr. Kloos was an AMAZING professor, but some classes can be VERY boring. just show him you want to learn by participating and paying attention in class, and you will do fine. also, work hard. The final and midterm are ESSAYS, and not essay topics you can randomly write

Dr. Kloos is an amazing instructor in that he knows what he's talking about when it comes to his field. As long as you show up to class, read what your told, ask a couple of questions, show him your thinking, do well on quizzes, presentations and final, you'll be fine. It is a really easy class to get an A as long as you show him you want to learn.

It is a very easy class. Your grade is based on 2 essays and a presentation. the final is also easy if you know at least 3 religions. classes can be pretty dull but you have to go to listen to the other presentation. But he's a nice guy and very laid back.

Looks strict and a bit creepy. Hes got a narrators voice "and from the shadows" I found his intelligence intimidating. set tense for the 1st couple weeks didnt know wat to expect. Dont take notes its pointless. He likes when u participate. Ur grade is based upon 2 presentations and 2 short papers. The final is a long assay

He really likes people who participate in class, even if it is minimally. I did other homework the entire time and occasionally chimed in with a remark and he loved it. Dont bother reading before class...just glance through the sections. Work extremely hard on the pres and papers...he grades hard and expects to change your life.
