Failed to instruct or lecture. Complete reliance on classwork and homework from online book publisher (Pearson). Exams did not properly test self-taught covered material. Terrible.

Doesn't seem to understand much of the materiel he is teaching. Does not prepare you adequately for any future class that may require any the of material you learned in his class.

John Leap is by far one of the best professors I have ever had in my college experience, the wonderful acoustics in the room give me that great learning experience. I always feel fully prepared when going into class.

I felt I would have learned more by just following the tutorials included with the software we were using. Goals were very loosely defined. Never used the Textbook required for the class (by him). Took much too long answering simple questions

Comment:
long boring lectures. If you ask a question you are likely to get a bunny trail that doesn't answer your question. This is all so you don't get robbed of an "educational opportunity." Just tell me what I'm supposed to learn and I'll learn it! Not very clear objectives about what you are actually supposed to learn each day, just a boring procedures

He is not a very smart teacher, he had to refer to the book every time i had a question. I didn't learn much from him in ENS 101. Unfortunately he is the only teacher available in a few important classes.

Wonderful prof for network analysis. Where else can you learn Kirchoff's current law in terms of numbers of chickens?
