Comment:
Santos is very knowledgeable of Aikido and I respect him for it but he doesn't know how to transmit that to students in a college setting. The hardest part is showing up and not falling asleep. After taking a semester of Aikido, I'm still unclear about it. He's very pushy with other classes/work he does. The class is laughable for a college course.

Took intro pyschology during the winter and enjoyed the class a lot! As long as you make an effort to participate in class and study at home you will recieve an easy A.

Comment:
The class gives you a basic knowledge of Psychology. He gets impatient when students don't participate. He doesn't hear well, so SPEAK LOUDLY + CLEARLY. Class activities can become tedious, but overall I like some of the discussions. His reviews and slides are very helpful for the tests. Be patient + get ready to hear dad-jokes + get an A.

I took his Psych 001 class in the summer. It is an easy A if you show up on time for lectures and whatever you do, don't miss a second of his test reviews. He likes to talk a lot about himself. Just deal with it, it's not too bad.

Class is very easy to get A as long as you show up regularly and participate. Sensei makes it fun in the classroom. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter.

Really boring but an easy A. Most of what he "taught" us was common sense and most of the time pointless. We did not cover how to approach an attacker that has a gun though. Most of it was how to land on your bottom properly. Boring class. Easy A.

As an experienced practitioner, I find that Sensei teaches in a very clear manner. He breaks information down in a way that makes sense.

Mr. Santos is....he's not mean, but he is very serious, and does not mess around; an aquired taste for sure.

During your first semester you will be lost since everything moves very quickly and abruptly. Being an internal art makes it highly "abstractive" and difficult to understand at times, but on the second time taking it things start to make sense and the class becomes quite enjoyable.

He made a big deal about people being late. He humiliated anyone who was late, yet HE was late several times and made us wait outside of class--including the day of the FINAL! He seems to have a chip on his shoulder and demands that people show him unearned respect. I did not like that about him. He IS very knowledgable about muscles tho!
